Reporting to the Associate Director, Transfer Pricing, the Senior Manager, Transfer Pricing will serve as a member of the transfer pricing team developing and implementing transfer pricing practices, policies, and strategies across the organization.  This role will collaborate closely with a well-established tax team along with cross-functional partners in Finance, Legal and other areas of the business.   

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Prepare monthly transfer pricing calculations and tax forecasting;
  • Perform financial and economic analyses and build financial valuation models;
  • Perform and review transfer pricing disclosures relating to statutory financial statements of foreign affiliate companies;
  • Advise on transfer pricing planning aspects of business expansion including entering into new countries, reorganizations, and cross-border transactions involving multiple jurisdictions;
  • Assist with tax audits/provide tax controversy support;
  • Monitor and analyze existing and proposed tax legislation and define and implement appropriate global strategies to address business needs;
  • Perform functional interviews to document the interaction of global subsidiaries and recommend adjustments to existing transfer pricing policies based on findings;
  • Prepare and review transfer pricing local file reports as well as country by country reporting and 1120 schedule M;
  • Prepare and review US tax reform calculations including FDII and BEAT;
  • Collect and analyze quantitative and qualitative data and report results and recommendations;
  • Perform ASC 740 analyses and document relevant positions;
  • Manage and collaborate with outside advisors; and
  • Draft and manage global intercompany agreement portfolio.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Minimum 7+ years of transfer pricing experience – A combination of Big 4/law firm and large corporate experience preferred;
  • Graduate degree, JD or CPA or equivalent qualification preferred;
  • Experience with automation tools preferred
  • Effective verbal & written communication skills;
  • Excellent critical thinking skills and deep attention to detail;
  • Demonstrated experience in managing global transfer pricing tax projects;
  • In-depth knowledge of international transfer pricing regulations and documentation requirements;
  • Advanced project management skills, proven ability to manage and prioritize workloads while working in a team with various members of the tax department and/or business;
  • Ability to partner effectively with business management, legal, and finance personnel; and
  • Team-first mentality.

The salary range for this role is $135,000 to $150,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. An employee’s pay position within the wage range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs. This compensation range may also be modified in the future.
