    Department- Enablement Team   The Senior Manager, xDR Enablement Opportunity

As the Senior Manager, BDR/SDR Enablement, you will play a pivotal role in developing, implementing, and optimizing training programs and processes to empower Business Development Representatives (BDRs) and Sales Development Representatives (SDRs). Your focus will be on enhancing their skills, knowledge, and productivity to drive successful lead generation and contribute to the overall sales pipeline globally and managing a global xDR Enablement team.

What you’ll be doing 

  • Training Program Development:
    • Design, implement, and manage comprehensive training programs for BDRs/SDRs, covering sales methodologies, product knowledge, objection handling, and effective communication skills.
    • Create onboarding materials and resources for new hires to accelerate their ramp-up time.
  • Sales Process Optimization:
    • Collaborate with sales leadership to refine and optimize the BDR/SDR sales processes.
    • Develop and update sales playbooks, call scripts, and objection handling guides to align with market trends and product offerings.
  • Technology and Tool Enablement:
    • Ensure BDRs/SDRs are proficient in using sales enablement tools, CRM systems, and other relevant technologies.
    • Provide ongoing training on new tools and technologies to enhance team efficiency.
  • Performance Analytics:
    • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for BDR/SDR teams and implement mechanisms to track and analyze performance.
    • Use data-driven insights to identify areas for improvement and adjust training programs accordingly.
  • Collaboration with Sales and Marketing:
    • Foster collaboration between BDR/SDR teams, sales teams, and marketing to ensure alignment on lead generation strategies and messaging.
    • Provide feedback to marketing teams on the quality and relevance of leads generated.
  • Continuous Learning and Development:
    • Promote a culture of continuous learning and development within the BDR/SDR teams.
    • Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends in sales development.
  • Feedback and Coaching:
    • Provide constructive feedback and coaching to the xDR Enablement Team members.
    • Conduct regular coaching sessions and performance reviews.

What you’ll bring to the role

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 8-10+ years experience as a people manager, sales enablement, training, or a similar role within a B2B environment.
  • Must have a strong understanding of BDR/SDR processes and prospecting.
  • Identity experience is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, presentation skills and executive presence. .
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales enablement tools (Salesforce, Gong, Highspot).
  • Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights.
  • Relevant certifications in sales or training are a plus.

Below is the annual base salary range for candidates located in California, Colorado, New York and Washington. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies. The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in California (excluding San Francisco Bay Area), Colorado, New York, and Washington is between:$146,000—$220,000 USD The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in the San Francisco Bay area is between: $164,000—$246,000 USD
