HelloFresh UK is currently seeking a Senior Operations Manager for our new site in Derby. As the Senior Operations Manager (SOM), you will play a pivotal role in steering the overall operational performance of our 3PW (3rd Party Warehouse) operations, while assuming the crucial position of the primary point of contact for our external partner. In your capacity as the budget owner, you will take charge of all operational KPIs, including H&S, cost, and error rates.

Not only will you be the central figure in managing the intricacies of our operational metrics, but you will also serve as the main liaison for our external partner. Your enthusiasm for improvement will be instrumental in working collaboratively with our external partner to unlock innovative solutions, paving the way for future growth and mutual success.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Lead our end to end operation of Planning, Inventory, Production, Warehouse and Outbound.
• Be the main point of contact for our external partner and maintain a great relationship.
• Responsible for achieving performance KPIs such as efficiency and error rates.
• Manage the operational budget for labor, equipment and improvement project investment.
• Build a brand new operation from the ground up.
• Create a positive team dynamic and push the importance of engagement across the team.
• Develop, share and ensure best practices are fulfilled across the site with constant feedback given from the shop floor to management.
• Drive continuous improvement across cost, quality and safety, while working in an ever changing and growing environment.

Who You Are:

• Ideally be from food and beverage, FMCG background in Production or Logistics Operations Management. Experience with managing end to end operations with multiple management tiers.
• Ability to represent the Hellofresh and navigate client facing interactions.
• Experienced in operational continuous improvement.
• Experience of budget management and proven cost saving approach.
• Experience in labour-heavy and agency worker environments.
• Strong understanding of health and safety and its application in a warehouse/production environment.
• Understanding of operational reporting, key information identification and critical issue escalation.
• Excellent people skills and be passionate about achieving results through people. A strong leader, able to inspire others and build engaged and motivated teams.

Location:  Derby, DE21 7HW

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. Onsite role
