About this role:

We are seeking a Senior Payroll Analyst to process Liftoff’s international payrolls. You will provide outstanding support to our employees. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Global Payroll, you will help streamline our international payroll processes and provide strong communication & education to ensure our employees are well-informed & educated about our payroll processes.  This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where your work will have a direct impact on our employees.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately prepare and process monthly payrolls for employees located in the APAC and EMEA regions.  
  • Process miscellaneous off-cycle checks, including final paychecks and severance.
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service when communicating with employees.
  • Resolve internal/external employee inquiries in adherence to department SLAs.
  • Act as backup for US semi-monthly payrolls.
  • Provide payroll reports and data as requested.
  • Correctly process taxable fringe benefits and other incentive awards.
  • Demonstrate great attention to detail while you will have the ability to work on multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Work collaboratively with our International Accounting Department to resolve payroll tax notices. 
  • Assist the Manager and the team with special projects as needed.

Requirements: 

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience with payroll.
  • International payroll experience.
  • Experience with Papaya Global Payroll preferred.
  • Highly detail-oriented.
  • Ability to manage highly confidential information with professionalism and unquestionable integrity.

Liftoff offers all employees a full compensation package that includes equity and health/vision/dental benefits associated with your country of residence. Base compensation will vary based on candidate location and experience. The following are our base salary ranges for this role: 

SF Bay Area, NYC, Los Angeles/Orange County: $100,000 - $120,000 Seattle/Olympia, Austin, San Diego, Santa Barbara, Boston: $90,000 - $110,000All other cities and towns in our approved states: $85,000 - $105,000
