Who We Are

We are looking for a passionate Product Manager to join the Storefront team. The team is responsible for building and growing the native apps and websites customers use to shop our collection. We leverage technology to make shopping for millions of products feel simple and personal. Customers should feel as comfortable browsing our site from the comfort of their home laptop as they do finalizing purchase decisions from their phones on-the-go.

We are looking for an experienced product manager to own product strategy, vision, and execution of the Design Systems, reusable UI, and core frameworks on our Wayfair App. This role is at the center of Wayfair’s tech transformation journey, and your platform will power millions of experiences a day. You’ll lead a cross-functional team to scale our components and build new capabilities to power faster launch and iteration on experiences throughout the funnel. You’ll be part of an exceptionally talented Product Management and Technology community and a tight-knit team at a Fortune 500 company.

What You’ll Do:

  • Leverage customer data, platform user research, and partner team visions to understand platform use cases; map those against business objectives, and transform that knowledge into platform enhancements (existing product space and net new capabilities)
  • Build reusable components that enable scalable, flexible, accessible, and consistent user experiences that improve ease of use for customers, developers, and designers throughout the entirety of the iOS & Android purchasing funnel
  • Break down complex problems and back up your recommendations with quantitative and qualitative reasoning
  • Given a broad and complex product strategy, independently own and craft a sequenced set of outcomes and solutions over a 12+ month time horizon (that benefit customers across our US, UK, DE and Canada sites, in addition to Wayfair’s specialty retail brands)
  • Bring technical, design, marketing, and experience product partners along in your vision. Be the advocate for how the platform can enable their business outcomes, while also listening for pain points and gaps to identify new opportunities.
  • Build and maintain roadmaps for your product(s); partner with user experience design and usability, analytics, engineering, technical program managers, other product managers, and stakeholders to translate your vision and roadmap into reality
  • Drive measurable results and/or learnings using testing best practices; monitor performance of your focus area

We Are a Match Because You Have:

  • 7+ years experience working in product management. Experience working on platform or design systems is highly valued.
  • Curiosity and eagerness to learn. You are comfortable diving into problems and technologies you may not be an expert in, even when working with those who are.
  • An ownership mentality. You’ve autonomously set a ~12 month vision for your domain, prioritizing a body of work that optimizes for customer outcomes. You’ve challenged yourself and others to proactively improve your product, its reliability, and plans for its future state. You propose adjustments to priorities as needed, and take responsibility for outcomes, celebrating team wins and surfacing learning moments openly.
  • Bias for collaboration. You assume good intent, partner willingly, and ensure the voices of teammates and stakeholders are heard. You communicate openly and proactively, bringing others into your plans. You coordinate and modify as needed.
  • Ability to connect between the specific and the general. You can detect themes in many different specific stakeholder team goals and abstract to find the commonalities.
  • Good judgment. You manage risk, know when to pivot, can assess multiple paths forward, and use data to inform and advocate for the right next steps
