Foundations Alliance’s mission is to accelerate the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and highly available digital products at HelloFresh. We do this by providing services and platforms as a product that improve our internal software engineers’ productivity and the reliability of their applications. 

We are looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager with a focus on providing highly available cloud based infrastructure services and components to HelloFresh software engineers. The ideal candidate is highly passionate about building infrastructure platforms that make it easy for software engineers to run their applications confidently and reliably as self-service. In this role, you will have a large impact on the success of our business: by reducing the amount of effort required to maintain highly available and performant applications for our end customers, you enable our engineers to spend more time developing innovative features.

• Own one of the problem spaces in our infrastructure engineering domain, centered around either compute or data processing and persistence-related infrastructure topics.
• Develop and communicate product strategy and roadmap for your problem space.
• Partner closely with your engineering leadership counterpart: lead your engineering team collaboratively.
• Discover new product opportunities; validate and prioritize these opportunities based on data to assess impact and effort with appropriate confidence.
• Translate and slice complex changes affecting core infrastructure systems into meaningful product iterations, enabling the delivery of iterative value to our internal customers.
• Define and monitor the key product success metrics for your domain.
• Contribute to defining our goals, and to the successful delivery of our strategies as part of the Foundation Alliance product team.

• You are an experienced product manager who is passionate about and familiar with building critical platform products for technical, internal customers in an agile environment, e.g. for developer platforms, data and ML platforms, or security platforms. 
• You are familiar with building platforms on top of cloud environments. Ideally you have used AWS before.
• Ideally you are familiar with at least one of the following technologies: Kubernetes (AWS EKS or ECS), AWS EC2, Kafka, RabbitMQ, AWS RDS, mongoDB (Atlas)
• Your customers are at the heart of all you do: you understand and anticipate engineers’ needs and have applied user insights to develop internal platforms before.
• You are familiar with goal setting and strategy frameworks in a product context, e.g. OKRs or the “working backwards” methodology.
• You base your decisions on data and have defined and worked with success metrics for internally used products before. You are familiar with the concept of DORA metrics.
• You have an understanding of best practices in software engineering, devops practices, microservice architectures, observability, and reliability challenges. You are familiar with some logging, and monitoring tech stacks, e.g. Grafana, DataDog, etc.
• You are familiar with providing infrastructure products as code.
• You are comfortable working with and communicate to a wide range of stakeholders - from developers to senior managers.
