Senior Program Manager
Our Opportunity:
Chewy is looking for a Senior Program Manager – Delivery Experience New Verticals to join our exciting and fast-paced Supply Chain team. The ideal candidate will be customer obsessed, have a passion for problem solving, a track -record of amazing execution of cross-functional initiatives and exceptional at using data to drive decisions. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role, creating and driving the delivery of a multi-year roadmap to build out new markets, new verticals and new delivery options. The primary focus of a Senior Program Manager in this role is to own the end-to-end initiative execution, finding opportunities to improve delivery experience and reduce operational costs through data-driven decision making. This individual must be highly motivated, team focused, organized and detail oriented and must possess solid analytical, problem-solving and interpersonal skills. Our ability to delight the customer in new markets is critical to the continued growth of Chewy. What You'll Do:
- Ideate and implement a multi-year roadmap to expand into new markets, new businesses, delivery options, and improve customer experience in existing programs.
- Scope new opportunities and risks, influence to clear blockers and manage escalations, while leading with courage to improve growth
- Partner with Technology, Merchandising, Category Management, Customer Service, and Supply Chain to identify and prioritize customer experience enhancements
- Identify gaps and engineer solutions in processes and systems to launch new verticals/businesses with customer-obsessed, high-quality execution across multiple functional teams.
- Perform in-depth analysis, synthesize results, develop stories, build strategies and make recommendations to business and technical leaders
- Utilize data to understand customer behavior, partner performance, and operational execution to accelerate speed to improvement
- Measure key quantitative indicators such as click to delivery service levels, concession rates, delivery defects, perfect orders, and more through dashboards and ad hoc queries to drive meaningful improvements to the customer experience
- Think strategically and act tactically to build long-term, sustainable, automated processes that ensure continued growth and customer delight
- Communicate clearly and effectively across multiple teams and leadership levels including project/program status, c-suite presentations and updates.
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, Management, Engineering or related field
- Strong analytical skills including SQL and advanced Excel, including the ability to pull data and use to identify and solve ambiguous problems
- Proven track record in ecommerce market expansion, international and/or new technology product launches
- 5+ years of industry experience in the ecommerce, operations, general management or engineering fields
- Up to 25% travel required
Bonus:
- MBA or Master of Science in Supply Chain, Engineering, Transportation, or other Operations fields; or equivalent Masters level degree
- 7+ years of industry experience in ecommerce, supply chain or transportation operations
- Experience with operations and delivery methodologies such as Lean/Six Sigma
- Successful delivery of technology solutions, and familiarity with service-oriented architecture
- Demonstrated ability to think big and influence across all levels of an organization
- Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results
- Superior professional writing and communication skills

The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant. Salaried-exempt team members have unlimited PTO, subject to manager approval. Team members will receive six paid holidays per year.
