Role Description

The Office of the CEO is a small team focused on facilitating the CEO’s objectives and providing him with leverage. We’re looking to add a thoughtful and detail-oriented Senior Program Manager to support the Chief of Staff to the CEO and the CEO. As a program manager and strategic adviser, you will help create a roadmap to operational excellence, with clear work-back plans and measurable milestones, and provide thought partnership on a number of strategic initiatives. 

You’re comfortable interacting cross-functionally at all levels of the organization. You’re humble, a team player, and known for your ability to build relationships. You’re able to learn and process information quickly, and enjoy debating a variety of topics.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and streamline operating rhythms for the CEO, including centralized tracking of all project plans, action items, milestone and dependencies
  • Maintain the CEO’s OKRs, ensure interconnectedness with other Dropbox organization’s OKRs, and draft company-wide updates to create transparency and accountability around progress
  • Act on behalf of the Chief of Staff to the CEO, where needed 
  • Represent the CEO’s vision and priorities in cross-functional projects, building great relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Act as an advisor/thought partner to the Chief of Staff to the CEO, and the CEO, by providing honest and thoughtful feedback (both positive and constructive)
  • Lead special projects for the CEO 
  • Act as “pinch-hitter” for other parts of OCEO as needed
  • Maintain sensitive information and fluidly adapt to a rapidly changing environment

Success in this role is measured by:

  • Increasing the leverage of the Chief of Staff to the CEO, and the CEO, by providing programatic support and thought partnership 
Requirements
  • 5+ years experience - background in consulting, business operations, project management strongly preferred
  • Previous experience in SaaS environment preferred
  • Strong organization skills  
  • Ability to draw insights from unorganized information and help drive process improvements accordingly
  • Ability to move quickly and make on-the-spot decisions without sacrificing attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal - ability to clearly articulate business issues and recommend / synthesize solutions
  • Self-starter, motivated by driving impact. 
  • Collaborative, team-first mindset. Strong desire to make the entire team successful
  • Bachelors Degree in Business (or related field)
  • Ability to maintain composure and sense of humor in high-pressure situations
  • High integrity with the ability to treat confidential information with sensitivity
Preferred Qualifications
  • Coding experience
  • Computer science degree
  • Consulting (eg BCG, Bain, Mckinsey) or Investment Banking background
Total Rewards

Dropbox takes a number of factors into account when determining individual starting pay, including job and level they are hired into, location/metropolitan area, skillset, and peer compensation.  We target most new hire offers between the minimum up to the middle of the range.

Salary/OTE is just one component of Dropbox’s total rewards package. All regular employees are also eligible for the corporate bonus program or a sales incentive (target included in OTE) as well as stock in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).

Current Salary/OTE Ranges (Subject to change):• US Zone 1: $181,100 - $213,000 - $244,900.• US Zone 2: $162,900 - $191,700 - $220,500.• US Zone 3: $144,800 - $170,400 - $196,000. Dropbox uses the zip code of an employee’s remote work location to determine which metropolitan pay range we use. Current US Zone locations are as follows:• US Zone 1: San Francisco metro, New York City metro, or Seattle metro• US Zone 2: Austin (TX) metro, Chicago metro, California (outside SF metro), Colorado, Connecticut (outside NYC metro), Delaware, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York (outside NYC metro), Oregon, Pennsylvania (outside NYC or DC metro), Washington (outside Seattle metro), Washington DC metro and West Virginia (DC metro)• US Zone 3: All other US locations
