About the job

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Program Manager, Leadership and Management Development to join our team. If you have a passion for unlocking the leadership capabilities of others, a knack for designing and managing development programs, and the ability to facilitate engaging in-person and virtual sessions, we want to hear from you.

 

As the Senior Program Manager, People Manager Development, you will play a pivotal role in nurturing leadership and management talent within our organization. We believe well-equipped people leaders build high-performing teams and inspire deeply engaged individuals to amplify business results.  

 

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll:

  • Shape and drive our people manager development strategy to meet the current needs of the organization, while also progressively up-leveling people managers in the long term
  • Bring a fresh, yet grounded perspective to leadership and management development that resonates with learners while honing in on capabilities that drive the business forward
  • Ensure Twilio has effective, inclusive developmental resources for each level of people management - from aspiring to executive
  • Develop an executive coaching strategy that delivers meaningful results and ensures equitable access and consideration for candidacy
  • Design and implement diverse development programing tailored to organizational objectives and the Twilio Magic, our values
  • Conduct engaging virtual and in-person training sessions tailored to a variety of learning styles, fostering a collaborative and inclusive learning environment
  • Establish, monitor and action against a continuous feedback loop to ensure programs and learning experiences are meeting their stated objectives
  • Partner with external training providers and industry experts as needed

Required:

  • 7+ years experience in leadership and management development, program design, and facilitation
  • Effective communication with individuals at all levels within the organization, from early in career to senior executives
  • Ability to adapt to diverse learning styles and preferences
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills
  • Proficiency in using training and development tools and platforms
  • Willingness to travel for in-person training sessions, approximately one trip per quarter
  • ​​Ability to effectively prioritize workload and work in a fast-paced, ever-changing culture

 

Desired:

  • Certification in leadership development or a related field
  • Experience building content that delivers against an organization’s DEI strategy
  • Experience leading training programs in a fully-remote environment

Locatio

This role will be remote but is not eligible to be hired in San Francisco, CA, Oakland, CA, San Jose, CA, or the surrounding areas.

 

10% - 20% of travel for training and meetings is anticipated.

*Please note this role is open to candidates outside of Colorado, California, New York, and Washington. The information below is provided for candidates hired in those locations only.

 

The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows:

  • Based in Colorado: $132,320.00-$165,400.00
  • Based in New York, Washington State, or California (outside of the San Francisco Bay area): $140,080.00-$175,100.
  • This role may be eligible to participate in Twilio’s equity plan. All roles are eligible for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.

 

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location within the state.
