The Team:

The Celonis Marketing team are looking for an experienced Project Manager. Reporting directly into the Head of the Marketing Project Management Office (PMO), you will play a pivotal role in structuring and organizing projects, processes and workflows and enjoy working in a fast paced and dynamic work environment. 

The Role: 

As a Senior Project Manager in the Marketing Project Management Office (PMO) at Celonis, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and executing strategic marketing initiatives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring projects align with Celonis' business objectives and contribute to the overall success of the organization. The Senior Project Manager will report directly to the Head of Marketing PMO and will be responsible for driving projects from initiation to completion.

The work you’ll do: 

We see the PMO as an internal service team. Providing support and structure where needed and helping all marketing teams to reach their goals. A core focus of the role is “change management”: Identify needs, understand the business, and derive actionable insights. Analyzing data, drawing the right conclusions, and communicating the findings in a comprehensible format is key.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership:
    • Lead and manage marketing projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and success criteria.
    • Provide guidance and direction to project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Strategic Planning:
    • Work closely with the Head of Marketing PMO to align projects with the overall marketing and business strategy.
    • Develop project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
    • Identify and mitigate potential risks and obstacles to project success.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with various teams within the marketing department, including content creation, digital marketing, events, and product marketing.
    • Foster effective communication and collaboration between different departments to ensure seamless project execution.
    • Act as a liaison between the marketing PMO and other business units, promoting alignment and shared goals.
  • Resource Management:
    • Manage project resources, including budget allocation and tracking.
    • Work with resource managers to ensure the availability and allocation of necessary team members.
    • Optimize resource utilization to maximize efficiency and project outcomes.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
    • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for projects and monitor progress against them.
    • Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders and leadership.
    • Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement and lessons learned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. Master is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in marketing or related roles - minimum of 5 years of work experience in the B2B Marketing or Sales space - either directly or as a consultant.
  • Strong understanding of marketing processes, strategies, and best practices.
  • Understanding of B2B business metrics, planning, analytics.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
  • PMP or other project management certifications are advantageous.
  • Professional fluency in English
