Joining Collibra’s Sales Compensation team

We are currently seeking candidates to join our Sales Compensation team at Collibra. The Sales Compensation team is crucial to the success and scalability of our sales organization and its supporting teams. Our main goal is to empower and support sales organizations, which in turn propel company performance. As part of this team, you will collaborate closely with business partners across functions and sales leaders.

The primary responsibility for this role is to help administer sales compensation, validate data and plans, and research exceptions. You will collaborate cross-functionally with various departments, working both as an advocate for the sales team and as a good custodian of the business. The ideal candidate is analytical, deadline-driven, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to multitask.

The Senior Sales Compensation Analyst at Collibra is responsible for
  • Assisting in ensuring sales commissions and bonuses are computed accurately and in a timely manner (including necessary data analysis and validation reports)
  • Providing primary support and management of the Xactly incentive compensation system, including maintenance of sales commission plans 
  • Participating in year-end and mid-year comp plan changes, including the preparation and distribution of annual documents
  • Resolving commission disputes via our Jira Service Support Desk
  • Cooperating with other parties involved in the sales compensation process, including Sales, Finance,  HR Organizations and Xactly Consultants
  • Contributing to the development, testing, and continuous improvement of systems to effectively track or capture data
  • Escalating potential issues needing additional support, review, or action by management
You have
  • 1-2 years of Xactly Incent experience
  • 5 years of Incentive and/or Compensation experience
  • Advanced Excel skills (including pivot tables, lookups, data modeling, etc.)
  • Experience with Salesforce.com
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent related working experience is required
  • This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship

  • Good with multitasking and prioritizing tasks
  • Team player who can communicate well with both leadership and peers
Measures of success
  • Within your first month, you will get up to speed on all of Collibra’s sales incentive plans and begin to take over the day-to-day administration of sales compensation.
  • Within your third month, you will be able to field most sales inquiries and assist with ad-hoc reporting.
  • Within your sixth month, you will be able to provide detailed training for new hires and develop key metrics for our department.
Compensation for This Role

The standard base salary range for this position is $80,000 - $100,000 per year. This position is eligible for additional commission-based compensation. Salary offers are based on a combination of factors, including, but not limited to, experience, skills, and location.
