About the team

Syncron is looking to grow our Global Sales Development Team with the addition of a SDR to support our India/Asia sales team. We are searching for a rockstar to join our team.

Our global sales development team exists for one VERY important reason; to facilitate opportunities for sales to engage with qualified prospects. Whether it is targeting accounts, following up on inbound leads or booking meetings for events, Syncron’s SDR team plays a vital role in marketing campaign execution and sales pipeline generation.

 

About the role

 

  • Uncovering & qualifying prospective customer needs, understanding business processes, identifying opportunities, understanding requirements, and ascertaining potential areas for Syncron to add value.
  • Researching target companies and key decision makers to identify their service business challenges and need for Syncron solutions.
  • Writing compelling emails that get prospective buyers to respond.
  • Telling engaging stories that pique our target buyers’ interests and leave them wanting to learn more about the value our products deliver.
  • Scheduling opportunities to engage with prospects and members of the Syncron sales team.
  • Collaborating with sales and marketing to continuously improve our lead generation and follow up process.
  • Ability and capacity to qualify the account for short- and medium-term opportunities.
What would you do?

 

    • 2-4 years of relevant experience in telemarketing, customer service, inside sales, business development or sales development with enterprise software company calling.
    • Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
    • Superior outbound calling, prospecting, and lead generation skills.
    • Strong ability to explain just about anything to anyone and have superior listening, phone and written and communication skills.
    • Excellent storytelling skills and getting a kick out of bringing prospects to that big aha! moment when they understand how our solution can make their lives easier and deliver quantitative value to their business.
    • Sincere interest in people and a high degree of comfort communicating with senior level executives via email and phone.
    • The patience and persistence required to make multiple attempts to reach a target buyer.
    • A keen ability to think on your feet, learn quickly, and when things change, you roll with it.
    • Proficiency with MS Office and Salesforce.com.
    • Experience calling on large manufacturing companies, supply chain, or service organizations is a plus.
    • Fluent in English is mandatory.
