YOUR MISSION

The way we manage our company is built on the belief that by giving a WOW service to our clients, we will be able to change the delivery market. How are we doing it? By paying attention to all the details. Glovo is a hyperlocal marketplace featuring the most trendy places in each city and delivering their products in less than 60 mins.

This role is primarily focused on Glovo’s Q-Commerce (quick commerce) business unit, which focuses on working with Supermarkets, Pharmacies, Shops (e.g., electronics, beauty, flowers, toys, video games, etc.

As a Sales Executive, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth and success of our business by establishing strong relationships and signing the largest Supermarkets, Pharmacies, Shops in the country. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, pitching our services, and closing deals that contribute to the expansion of our platform. Your ability to understand market trends, communicate effectively, and negotiate with partners will be vital in achieving both personal and company sales targets.

THE JOURNEY

Business Development

    • Research and identify potential partners, merchants, and vendors to onboard onto the Glovo platform
    • Cold-call, email, and set up meetings to introduce Glovo’s services and benefits to potential partners
    • Understand the unique needs and challenges of each partner and tailor solutions to match their requirements

Negotiation and Deal Closure

    • Present and negotiate partnership terms, pricing, and agreements to potential partners.
    • Collaborate with partners to design and implement joint promotional campaigns, offers, and initiatives
    • Close deals and meet or exceed sales targets, contributing to the company’s revenue growth

Market Insights and Reporting

    • Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitive landscape, and industry developments
    • Collect and analyze data related to partner performance, sales metrics, and market feedback to provide actionable insights
    • Prepare regular reports and presentations for internal stakeholders to demonstrate sales performance and growth opportunities

Continuous Improvement

    • Seek continuous learning and self-improvement to enhance sales techniques, negotiation skills, and industry knowledge
    • Contribute to the development of sales strategies and initiatives to drive Glovo’s market presence and revenue generation
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

Background 

  • At least 5 years of experience in sales roles working with large B2B clients
  • Experience in fast-paced environment (start-ups, FMCG, retail, advertising, food-hospitality, etc.) is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience in FMCG, food-hospitality or on-demand delivery industry is a plus

Leadership, Business Acumen and Collaboration 

  • Business acumen
    • Proven track record of understanding and empathizing with clients’ business models, challenges, and objectives in order to create synergistic strategies and deliver value through collaboration
    • Proven experience in sales, business development, or account management, preferably in the technology or e-commerce
    • Experience in understanding retail business, as well as revenue dynamics and drivers
  • Partner collaboration: Proven experience of at least 3 years in working with external partners to align on strategic initiatives, foster mutual growth, and ensure seamless collaboration on account-related matters

  • Problem solving skills with strong commercial and analytical skills
  • Data-driven mentality: takes decision based on data and makes business judgment when necessary
  • Results-oriented mindset with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills
  • Negotiation skills: Know how to negotiate /build your way into a super deal with big players in the market
  • Project management skills, highly organized and detail-oriented approach
  • Excellent knowledge of Google Suite and/or MS Office, Excel
  • Excellent written and spoken Bulgarian & English skills
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus
