As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll develop the technical and business foundation to turn your passion for technology into real-world solutions. You’ll architect and implement web applications using cutting edge technology solutions. You’ll drive the end-to-end experience, from the front-end to the backend systems running in the cloud. Strong candidates will have robust technical training and experience. You will be a leader on a team who works together to explore new boundaries and test new technologies. We maintain a tight loop between development, feedback and deployment, which allows us to build world-class solutions to our business, marketing and data quandaries.

What You'll Do:

  • Autonomously design scalable, maintainable, secure, and reusable solutions
  • Define approach for codebase and design strategic solutions
  • Demonstrate consistent performance when working across an entire system, product, or technology solution
  • Determine estimation, work break down, scoping, design, implementation for mid-to-large products, and complex multi-month deliverables with insightful and strategic approaches
  • Build systems and continuous delivery pipelines
  • Develop team through indirect mentorship

What We're Looking For:

  • Demonstrate proficiency in multiple languages, technical expertise in at least one and deep and broad domain knowledge
  • Understand when and how to leverage different web service and software architecture approaches
  • Drive technical progress by proposing effective, well-architected Data Models and Schemas
  • Minimize cost implications and demonstrate business acumen when making technical decisions
  • Strategically plan and deliver end-to-end technology solutions
  • Provide technical guidance to business partner stakeholders to help drive technical decisions

Even Better:

  • Experience with Typescript, NextJS, React
  • Working knowledge of solutions architecture on modern cloud platforms. We use AWS, but in-depth experience with other platforms is welcome.
  • Experience with a variety of API paradigms such as REST, GraphQL, Webhooks, Websockets, Event-driven architectures.
  • Deep knowledge of databases, data modeling, query optimization, and caching.
  • Deep knowledge of Test Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)

Compensation

  • USA Compensation Range: $100,000-$195,000* *Note actual salary is based on geographic location, qualifications, and experience.
