What You'll Do:

  • As a Software Engineer, you’ll develop the technical and business foundation to turn your passion for technology into real-world solutions. You’ll architect and implement web applications using cutting edge technology solutions. You’ll drive the end-to-end experience, from the front-end to the backend systems running in the cloud. Strong candidates will have robust technical training and experience. As a member of the team, you will have the opportunity to explore new boundaries and test new technologies. We maintain a tight loop between development, feedback and deployment, which allows us to build world-class solutions to our business, marketing and data quandaries.

What We're Looking For:

  • 3-5+ years experience in front end web development
  • Strong experience with Typescript and React.
  • NextJS and server side rendering experience is a plus.
  • Strong Node.js knowledge.
  • Experience with a variety of API paradigms such as REST, GraphQL, Webhooks, Event-driven architectures.
  • Strong knowledge of databases, data querying, data modeling, and caching.
  • Working knowledge of solutions architecture on modern cloud platforms. We use AWS, but in-depth experience with other platforms is welcome.
  • Experience with Monitoring and Metrics tools such as New Relic, DataDog, ELK stack etc. 
  • Strong understanding of software design patterns, object oriented programming, functional programming concepts, and software architecture.
  • Knowledge of unit testing and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)
  • Working knowledge of security best practices.
  • The ability to prioritize, strategize, execute and deliver projects on time
  • Self-motivated and creative problem-solvers who love to challenge themselves

Even Better:

  • Ability to architect and develop your own API’s
  • Web performance and core web vitals.
  • Experience with serverless and event driven architecture.
  • Experience integrating SaaS products into websites, especially digital marketing products (like Segment, Mailchimp, Iterable, or Optimizely) and adtech products like Google Ad Manager (DFP).
  • Experience implementing Web Accessibility Standards. (compliance with WCAG 2.0 Level AA preferred)
  • You’ve built a side-project that shows off more advanced skills
  • You contribute to an open source project
  • You volunteer or mentor fellow developers

Compensation

  • USA Compensation Range: $80,000-$120,000* *Note actual salary is based on geographic location, qualifications, and experience.
