Senior Technical CRM Manager
As an Embedded Technical CRM Manager, you’ll be part of our Brazil CRM team of experts, helping them to translate their outbound communication project ideas into technical actionable items; while coordinating with them how to execute their vision within the available communication tools at SumUp, especially our Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform.
The Brazil CRM Team is responsible for handling all activities related to CRM management related to SumUp Brazilian customers. This team is deeply focused on end-to-end flows, that involve acquisition, support, surveys, churn, customer success and any other relevant aspect of the customer relationship management required for SumUp's successful operations within the Brazilian territory.
You will be the bridge between business and platform, acting as your team facilitator when it comes to outbound communication projects and coordinating with the Communication Platform Squad new required features for the greater good of your team, as well as SumUp's overall outbound communication processes. Communication Platform is an infrastructure team that owns the tools and services SumUp uses to send outbound messages at scale. We build tools and services that enable our internal users to create targeted audiences and send personalised, relevant messages. Salesforce Marketing Cloud is at the centre of our setup, and we have all the studios available to the organisation, using the following channels: Email, SMS, Mobile Push, In-app, Mobile Inbox and WhatsApp.
What you’ll do
- Be part of planning and design sessions with Brazil CRM Leadership to capture their project vision and help them translate it into technical requirements
- Provide insights about the Platform to stakeholders, sharing knowledge about what is feasible or not, and what could be the best way to accomplish their goals
- Focus on coordination and implementation of priority tickets/projects defined within the team development cycle
- Provide support when needed for other team members regarding Salesforce Marketing Cloud activities
- Do reports and manage expectations with the Brazil CRM Leadership team and your Chapter
- Monitor the system regarding Brazil's outbound communication operations and promptly report issues to prevent escalations
- Give mentorship
You’ll be great for this role if
- You have worked with Salesforce Marketing Cloud for at least 2 years as an administrator, and have in-depth knowledge of the underlying cross-channel contact infrastructure and management within a multi-business unit structure
- You have experience working with different stakeholders and being able to immerse yourself into business discussions without losing focus on the technical requirements that need to be addressed for the business goals to be achieved
- You are capable of prioritising and coordinating your tasks almost autonomously requesting aid when necessary
- You know how to work with the Marketing Cloud Studios for segmentation operations, personalization, multi-channel management and Landing Pages; and you’re confident in recommending which Studios and features to use, and discussing considerations with your Team and Chapter colleagues
- You are proficient in SQL and AMPscript for dynamic content, segmentation, data and reporting operations. An understanding of SSJS is also desired for a proper understanding of more complex integrations
- You enjoy creating documentation to share your solutions within an organisation – it’s a bonus if you’ve used Jira and Confluence
