About the role

We're in search of a Senior Technical Program Manager who has experience leading technical teams, orchestrating information flow, and resolving challenges.

This role will be a part of the Program Management team and will collaborate with Enterprise Technology, and several other teams within our organization to guide essential projects.

As the Sr. Technical Program Manager you will report to the Senior Director, Program Management. Based in our Dallas office this role adopts a hybrid work schedule and we are looking for someone who can be onsite 3-4 days a week.

A day in the life of a Senior Technical Program Manager, Enterprise Technology:
  • Organize, plan, and track ongoing technical projects and important initiatives for the Enterprise Technology team
  • Lead the daily progress of projects with regard to schedule, scope, and process
  • Lead meetings, track next actions, and follow up on action items
  • Identify and manage cross-team dependencies
  • Be the liaison with relevant business groups to facilitate planning and collaboration between teams, agree on goals, identify dependencies, mitigate risks, and communicate regular updates to all partners
  • Balance 2-3 large programs related to content, finance, and commerce and be able to switch context across programs
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies (Backlog grooming, Sprint planning, Daily standup, Retrospectives, and Demos) where applicable
  • Establish best practices and repeatable processes to increase efficiency for teams together with the larger Program Management Organization
About You:
  • 5+ years experience as a technical Project Manager, Program Manager, Operations Manager or Scrum Master supporting an Enterprise Technology team
  • Prior experience in or managing projects related to streaming or entertainment industry
  • Experience working with globally-distributed teams
  • Knowledge of main concepts and standard processes for technical program management
  • You are inquisitive, organized, and has a desire for continued self-improvement and development of new skills
  • Knowledge of SDLC processes, with experience in both agile and waterfall methodologies, and knowing when to apply each
  • Experience with JIRA and Confluence
About the Team

The Enterprise Technology department is a team of enthusiasts who dedicate their time to building reliable and scalable solutions to help build, run, and transform enterprise applications. We promote engineering practices and use innovative technologies and cloud-based microservice architecture, which allow Crunchyroll enterprise teams to integrate seamlessly and achieve their goals.

The Program Management organization is a distributed team responsible for coordinating projects for the Crunchyroll streaming service. We standardize Agile methodologies for our organization, promote process improvements, and lead cross-team communications.
