The Senior UX Designer is responsible for the execution of UX strategy projects. The Sr. UX Designer goal is to find UX opportunities and propose solutions that will contribute to the success of our client’s digital products. The Sr. UX Designer works passionately having in mind the customer and our clients' goals. The primary responsibilities of the Sr. UX Designer include understanding customers and client’s business, executing design-thinking exercises, proposing a UX strategy, architecting information, providing innovative solution proposals, applying advanced visual design practices, participating in UX QA processes and ensuring the proper handoff to developers. The Sr. UX Designer works integrated into a larger team and is capable of handling complex user experience projects efficiently under minimum direction from either a User Experience Lead or a UX Manager, but also has proven ability to handle user experience projects independently exceeding expectations.

 

You will:

  • Work closely with clients, business partners, industry experts and the development team to achieve the business goals.
  • Conduct discovery sessions and exercises with business stakeholders and partners in order to understand the business, the product/app background, limitations and the ecosystem surrounding the product or application with minimum lead’s direction. Some of the tasks and deliverables include (but are not limited to): project kick-off meetings, stakeholder interviews, stakeholder workshops/design-thinking workshops, debriefing, requirement-gathering, content inventory, compliance and legal requirements gathering, tech requirements gathering and competitor analysis.
  • Carry out complex and test user experience and user behavior to determine their needs, feelings, desires and pain points with minimum lead’s direction. Some of the tasks and deliverables include (but are not limited to): user testing, A/B testing, shadowing, interviews, data analysis, measure product performance, psychographics analysis, observational research, heuristic analysis, card sorting and empathy maps.
  • Structure user research insights using design-thinking exercises with minimum lead’s direction. Some of the tasks and deliverables include (but are not limited to): personas, user journey and storyboards.
  • Propose innovative UX strategies that go beyond the ask with minimum lead’s direction to achieve business opportunities. Some of the tasks and deliverables include (but are not limited to): UX strategy, KPI setup, user stories, content audit, content strategy and time estimates.
  • Design under minimum supervision complex and innovative information structure hierarchy based on UX strategy. Some of the tasks and deliverables include (but are not limited to): sitemap and user flows.
  • Sketch out and come up with solutions that demonstrate their experience with minimum lead’s direction. The Sr. UX Designer can find opportunities beyond the original ask and create a variety of complex and innovative solutions for a given problem based on experience. Some of the tasks and deliverables include (but are not limited to): mood boards, sketching, wireframing, visual design, prototyping, style guide design.
  • Prepare handoff for the development team. Some of the tasks and deliverables include (but are not limited to): design comps, design assets, redlines and UX documentation.
  • Apply usability best practices.
  • Apply accessibility best practices.
  • Apply agile and iterative design best practices.
  • Apply in their solutions their basic knowledge of development practices.
  • Help build team culture with drive, collaboration, transparency and inspiring spirit.
  • Stay up to date with the latest design trends, systems, tools, technologies and platforms, while fostering excellence.
  • Report to the User Experience Design Lead, the Sr. UX Designer must work with and sometimes supervise a small team of UX designers.

 

You have:

  • Advanced English proficiency (B2+/C1 reading, writing, and conversational).
  • 5+ yrs. experience in UX agencies, digital agencies, design agencies, and/or startups.
  • Experience on UX/UI projects for international clients and global brands.
  • Experience in at least three different industries such as fintech, automotive, pharma, ecommerce, food chains and others.
  • A Sr. UX Designer must be current with the latest design and prototyping tools used in their area. These tools include (but are not limited to): Figma , Sketch, Invision, Adobe XD, Photoshop, Abstract, Principle and Zeplin.
  • Advanced understanding of design principles, trends, and systems.
  • Advanced understanding of visual design.
  • Understanding of digital marketing, online advertising and business strategy concepts.
  • Understanding of interactivity, animation principles and best practices.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, Graphic Design, Visual Design, Advertising Design or related field or equivalent experience in UX and/or digital agencies or startups.
