SHOULD YOU ACCEPT THIS CHALLENGE...
- Lead the design of key features through collaboration with UX, PM, and Engineering, driving our product’s user experience forward.
- Plan and conduct user research, leading efforts to gather actionable insights that directly inform and shape the design decisions.
- Employ data-driven design, leveraging research and insights to inform your design decisions, ensuring they align with user expectations.
- Champion continuous improvement, iterating based on feedback to enhance the user experience.
- Develop holistic solutions that balance business goals with user delight, creating seamless experiences.
- Share knowledge with other team members and help us to improve design maturity.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...
- Proven Experience: Demonstrable experience in leading UX design projects, with a strong portfolio that showcases deep how your work has impacted the user experience and business objectives.
- Collaborative Spirit: Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Engineering, to create cohesive and effective designs.
- Research-Driven Design: A strong background in user-centred design principles and practices. Experience in planning and conducting user research.
- Problem-Solving Skills: A keen eye for identifying user needs, motivations, and behaviours. Ability to translate these insights into design solutions that address both user problems and business goals.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in design and prototyping in Figma. Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus, as it enables better communication with the engineering team.
- Continuous Learning: A commitment to learning and adapting to new technologies and design trends. Willingness to receive and act on feedback to constantly improve oneself and the design solutions.
- Design Advocacy: Passion for educating and advocating for user experience design best practices throughout the organization.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically about design, incorporating user insights, business requirements, and technical constraints into holistic design solutions that drive forward the company’s goals.
- English Language Proficiency: Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal, is essential. The ability to articulate design concepts, user experience considerations, and decisions clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization.
As this is an office-centric role, you are expected to be present in the office for 4 days a week. As outlined in Pure's Hybrid Work Policy, there will be variations over periods of time, depending on business need.
