Role: Senior/Lead Integrated Designer 

Location:Hamburg, Germany (Hamburg-based + German speaking)

 

ROLE MISSION

Working in partnership with our client, the Senior/Lead Integrated Designer creates impactful crafted communications and production-based artwork. This role delivers a vast range of marketing and branded material; from digital campaign creation, POS, adaptation for supplied assets, social, web banners, exhibition collateral, presentations and content animations.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING IN YOUR ROLE

  • Working directly with PM and business lead in a fast-paced, energetic client side environment
  • Leading the way on projects identified as opportunities to show our design, craft, conceptual expertise – but also comfortable to do the production based delivery work
  • Mentor and line-manage designers/artworkers in other regions
  • Catalogue and curate our best design work, push the work no matter the size of request
  • Keeping up to date with current design thinking, best practice and trends
  • Fluent in English

WHAT SKILLS WILL HELP YOU BE SUCCESSFUL 

  • A well-rounded understanding of contemporary graphic design, exceptional typography with an eye for detail.
  • Understands business and client objectives with the projects, can interrogate a brief well.
  • Strong working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite – Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator
  • Knowledge in After Effects is beneficial
  • Proactive, positive, can-do attitude with a determined work ethic.
  • Self-initiated mindset with ability to manage their time and others time efficiently.
  • Passionate and curious about design & social media and understand the latest innovations.
  • Skills to lead and brief designers, offering constructive feedback allowing them to push the quality of the work.
  • Understanding of artworking and digital production.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment.
  • Strong communication skills – able to express themselves clearly and build client relationships.
  • The ability to manage, mentor and develop other designers/artworkers.
  • 5+ years experience design/advertising/marketing environment sectors.
  • High-level formal design education.
  • Experience in brand, social and motion.
