Our sales team members work hand-in-hand with large organisations around the world to keep their digital environments protected. We educate, inspire, and empower our potential clients in their journey to security.
As part of our sales team, you are empowered with systems and tools, constantly updated research and sales libraries, and a team built on joint success. You won't find someone at Cloudflare that isn't committed to your success - with everyone pitching in to assist when it comes to solutions selling, learning, and development.
As a member of our sales team, you are motivated by a solutions-focused sales environment and find fulfillment in working with clients to resolve incredibly complex cyberthreats.
This position has working hours Monday to Friday 09:00 a.m. to 06:00 p.m. Occasionally, we support our customers during the weekends for specific changes that need to be done outside of their business hours. Travel is expected at 30%.
About the role:
The Services Sales Consultant (SSC) is a dynamic pre-sales professional, passionate about technology evangelism and developing custom services solutions to drive business growth. This role focuses on architecting and sizing the essential service components that enable the Cloudflare platform. The SSC excels at presenting how the successful integration of technology and services translates into tangible business value for customers.
A core objective of the SSC is to grow the Cloudflare professional services business. This involves direct engagement with customers to define the specific service requirements needed to maximize the value of their technology investment and achieve their desired technical and business outcomes.
The SSC works in a fast-paced environment and is instrumental in enabling Cloudflare customers to securely achieve their goals. This is accomplished by creating and proposing a comprehensive services wrapper tailored to meet each customer's unique needs.
The SSC maintains close working relationships across the organisation, partnering directly with the Services Sales team, Core and Specialist Sales, as well as establishing strong connections with Delivery teams, Global Delivery Practices, and other subject matter experts within Cloudflare Professional Services.
The successful candidate will recommend the appropriate blend of Cloudflare services to assist customers in planning and executing large-scale transformations, ensuring they leverage maximum value from the portfolio.
Your Impact
- Collaborate with Services Sales to clearly define Cloudflare's differentiated approach to Go-to-Market (GTM) services. Showcase our delivery capabilities, IP, and expertise through compelling success stories that demonstrate how we solve customer needs.
- Gathering, understanding and defining customer specific requirements and expectations for value based outcomes in workshop based scenarios.
- Collaborating with Services Sales, Delivery and Global Practices to construct solution proposals and Statements of Work to satisfy customer specific scope requirements and outcome based services.
- Collaborating with Services Sales to drive business growth for Cloudflare Services in your aligned territory.
Your Experience
- 5+ years of proven experience in technical consulting, pre-sales, or service delivery within an IT or Cybersecurity services organization.
- Self–motivated and detail–oriented.
- Strong written, verbal and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated experience in discovery/scope definition workshops with cross–functional internal and customer resources to prepare current state/future state roadmaps and services proposals.
- Experience of working across multiple regions.
- Cybersecurity experience preferred.
- Experience and familiarity with using SFDC or similar CRM tools.
- Cloudflare Platform experience will be an extra asset.
CompensationCompensation may be adjusted depending on work location. This role is eligible to earn incentive compensation under Cloudflare’s Sales Compensation Plan.
