Location:Kingston upon Thames, England, United Kingdom (Mandatory 2 days onsite)
ROLE MISSION
Working in partnership with our client, the Social Media Manager & Creator will manage the social content of some of the world’s leading brands across our Beauty & Wellbeing category. This role will focus predominantly on the client's brands accounts for Instagram and TikTok. Each week you will hunt out “golden nugget” opportunities for content creation and social engagement that’ll make this brand shine on social. As such, content planning will be a large part of this role so you will need to have a strategic approach to planning out your monthly and yearly calendar moments. You will be at the forefront of the brand conversation so experience with community management and how to optimise is essential. This opportunity is perfect for a talented and experienced individual who can translate brand personality into conversations on social media, is great at ideating highly engaging content which leverages current trends and knows how best to use platform functionality and strengths to our advantage.
THIS ROLE IS RIGHT FOR YOU IF...
You are on top of the latest developments in social, you know what is happening behind the social media feed and know the latest reels and TikTok trends and how it can be translated seamlessly to the brand. You are creatively minded and have an eye for converting trends into content, you know how to measure performance, you have experience in planning and creating content, editing and using editing suites such as Premiere Pro and working with other creators. Lastly, you’re experienced in community management and enjoy being proactive in sharing your opinion on what should be next for your brands and on social.
ABOUT THE TEAM YOU WILL BE JOINING
You will be joining an on-site agency team who are super passionate about best-in-class social and creative. You’ll work closely with your social team, digital specialists, brand managers and customer service partners.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING IN YOUR ROLE
You will be responsible for driving best in class social media management and involved in;
Listening and Engagement
- Listen and respond to relevant consumer comments and questions
- Provide on-brand responses to influencer and consumer @mentions
- Identify opportunities for the brand to surprise and delight its audience
- Track trending topics
Content + Creation
- Monitor feeds for relevant opportunities to inject the brand into culture
- Spot new influencer opportunities and keep on top of UGC
- Write copy for organic posts and paid/dark content
- Ideate excellent creative content which taps into trends and our audience’s passions and behaviours
- Liaise with clients to gather feedback and approval on content
- Schedule content to go live across social channels
- Product seeding to external influencers/creators
- Creating engaging brand led content
Planning and client partnership
- Receive and interrogate briefs from clients and supporting in brief development to
- Creative teams and other partners
- Support in development of social channel strategy workstreams
- Plan and create social content calendars
- Present content ideas to clients
WHAT SKILLS WILL HELP YOU BE SUCCESSFUL
- This job is best suited to an individual with at least 2/3 years of experience working in an agency (ideally) or client side on brand marketing through social media.
- Level-headed, strategic thinker
- Entrepreneurial and proactive - ability to spot opportunities to create content and help clients achieve their business ambitions
- Creative flair and great written communications skills and excellent copywriting
- Nuanced and thorough knowledge of social platforms – and how brands can best leverage them to achieve commercial results
- Keen interest in digital trends and popular culture
- Worked with social media management tools e.g Sprinkler
- Measurement and Reporting
- Content creation
- Content creation for beauty brands – please do share your portfolio for consideration.
- Have professional beauty experience and a passion for the beauty/ skincare industry
- Worked in FMCG and have an interest in beauty and wellbeing
- Community management experience
- Experience in ideating, creation and planning social media content, implementing feedback and scheduling content for TikTok & Instagram
- Stakeholder management, including internal, cross-department, clients
- Excellent written communication skills
- Experience briefing influencers
