The Data Applications team is in the process of opening a new opportunity for Qualtrics customers to gain insights across their business and industry like never before. Our apps will help organizations find actionable insights from all available data, allowing them to understand their customers deeply and solve problems proactively. In this role you will help us design and build a framework for data-powered apps, including their supporting services, that utilize expert analysis and AI to uncover insights customers may otherwise miss. How You’ll Grow
- Master the ability to design and build secure, scalable, performant, robust SaaS solutions.
- Learn to partner with Product and UX in defining and implementing our roadmap. You’ll not only design and implement solutions, but help drive direction.
- Collaborate with other engineers, tech operations, data scientists, and other experts across a variety of disciplines. You’ll examine problems holistically and drive wins for both our customers and our company.
- Increase your ability to prioritize work to deliver value to our customers efficiently.
Things You’ll Do
- Advance the data app platform to enable scalability and 3rd-party development.
- Work with Product and UX to design and build new data app features and their supporting services, to provide new insights to our customers.
- Create advanced analytics that identify trends and sentiments in structured and unstructured user data through our AI platform via statistical analysis and generative AI.
- Design distributed, performant, low-latency services to facilitate data, dashboard, and other configuration sharing across the Qualtrics platform, solving complex, novel problems that will enable new possibilities.
- Build integrations with major SaaS players including computing platforms and data providers.
- Architect and deliver innovative full-stack solutions to effectively meet customer needs.
What We’re Looking For On Your Resume
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience in software engineering roles, with a focus on software design and implementation.
- Proficiency in modern programming languages and frameworks (Node.js, Golang, Java).
- Experience with web-related technologies such as HTML/CSS and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with JavaScript application frameworks, especially React.
- Experience with AI: especially use of LLMs in generative AI applications.
- Knowledge of system design paradigms such as streaming, caching, event-driven programming.
- Strong knowledge of database/data storage technologies (SQL/NoSQL).
- Must be legally authorized to work in job location without Qualtrics sponsorship now or in the future
