As a software engineer on our web services team you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our full stack web & mobile applications. This will involve collaborating with our design and product teams to deliver user-friendly interfaces and high-performing services. In addition to this, it will be crucial for you to ensure the scalability and security of our web services. You will be involved in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to maintain the high standards of our software.Your role will also extend to innovation - identifying and implementing new technologies that can enhance our product's performance and user experience. You will be expected to stay updated with the latest trends in web development and integrate this knowledge into your work.Our teams are multi-role & expected to handle all parts of the software development lifecycle from design to developer operations. We work in a highly independent agile environment, with regular stand-ups, sprints, and retrospectives. We are not overly focused on process but believe that working openly promotes better collaboration & better results.

You will be responsible for:- Building & maintaining Front-end web applications- Building & maintaining Back-end web applications- Building & maintaining a mobile app built with Expo- Leading new development projects- Evaluating the costs & benefits all development projects- Collaborating with the product, design, & IoT teams- Participating in code reviews- Pair programming

What you bring to the table:- At least 3 years of experience in web development.- No degrees required- Proficiency in Typescript and familiarity with modern web frameworks such as React or Vue.js as well as backend technologies like Node & gRPC.- Experience with a microservice architecture- Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, or similar
