Location: 110 Spadina Ave with occasional visit to Tomken Rd & Matheson Blvd East, Mississauga

Schedule: Monday - Friday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

This role will support all categories within our direct procurement team across Hellofresh and Chefs Plate brands in Canada. We’re looking for a sourcing coordinator to manage our growing / exciting catalogue of fresh, frozen and shelf-stable ingredient skus. In this newly created role reporting into the Category Manager of Grocery, you will work closely with various Category Managers, Supply Planners, Continuous Improvement teams. You will play a key role in ensuring our existing ingredient portfolio is performing, as well as driving the delivery in onboarding and offboarding of key ingredients that will drive the maximum value in our product offering.

  • Execution of SKU onboarding and offboarding processes in collaboration with relevant stakeholders
  • Manage and track the progress of key projects relating to our ingredients portfolio.
  • Overseeing sample management program coordination between suppliers, culinary teams, and distribution centers when required
  • Coordination of internal ingredient testing with our Food Safety and Packaging teams, as required (shelf life, transit, etc)
  • Engaging with suppliers to gather information
  • All other duties, as assigned

  • Degree in business, supply chain, or related discipline.1-3 years of related experience in a hands-on, high performance environment (ideal backgrounds include: sourcing, supply chain, operations, or project management).
  • Strong attention to detail and organization: you’re driven by bringing order to chaos.
  • Analytical and data skills: able to dig through data independently and draw helpful insights / conclusions.
  • Strong Excel skills are a must! ‘Can do’ attitude, flexible and willing to get stuck in with the changing needs and requirements of the business.
  • Structured approach and communication style: ability to clearly and persuasively communicate with a large variety of stakeholders.
  • A passion for food and enthusiasm for delivering a great customer experience.
