YOUR MISSION

Glovo is building the future of cities by enabling anyone to get any product from any store delivered in minutes. Our goal is to provide an on-demand delivery infrastructure for every city worldwide. We are looking for an Accounting graduate with several years of experience in the financial field to join us as part of our accounting Iberia team.THE JOURNEY

• Monitor and improve over the General Accounting activity for all Group companies, involving continuous communication with local units
• Control of the intercompany figures
• Review local financial statements (income statement and balance sheet) for all Group companies, ensuring the same global criteria is used
• Complete assigned accounting activities to support the monthly, quarterly and annual close processes
• Assist, as needed, with internal and external audits
• Support the timely reporting of key financial information; monitor the performance and quality of the activities performed based on agreed Key Performance Indicators (“KPIs”) and Service Level Agreements (“SLAs”)
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and local GAAP accounting rules, where applicable
• Operate within a robust and internal control environment
• Actively and recurrently participate in the elaboration of the consolidated financial statements
• Define Key accounting information (global accounting policies, common chart of accounts, official communications, etc.)

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process
• Excellent MS Excel skills
• Experience with ERP
• Consolidation and corporate operations knowledge
• Good vibes + team player
• Fluency in English.
• Fluency in Portuguese is a plus.
