The role

We are looking for a highly driven creative leader for the role of our Director Creative with strong experience in top leadership positions at communications & advertising agencies or at companies marketing departments. 

As the most Senior Creative leader in the global organization, this person will not only help to develop a bold and powerful creative vision for our brands, but turn this vision into inspiring and effective creative output. This person will be the driver of new, transformative ideas and turn these into powerful "working examples“ that create a shift and move our brands forward.

What you’ll do
  • Develop effective partnerships with key stakeholders in and outside of the Brand Department
  • Partner with other leaders across the company to understand key (marketing) priorities and guide the creation of compelling creative work that drives results
  • Drive and monitor compelling messaging and communication tactics both within and beyond our industry to ensure we are current with the rapidly evolving food marketing landscape
  • Identify trends in marketing/advertising trends in order to best service client accounts
  • Lead and inspire our in house creative teams, fostering a culture that places a premium on ideas, creativity and innovation to stimulate original thinking and deliver industry-leading creative
  • Provide senior creative direction on all marketing needs including online marketing, offline design (brand design, brand guidelines, packaging, etc.), advertising campaigns, digital creative needs, copywriting, and content creation, including video
What you’ll bring
  • 15+ years experience in advertising, design, innovation and creative teams 
  • Leadership of large, multidisciplinary teams
  • Experience working in and loving a tech/start-up environment
  • You have delivered strong, award-winning cases for various blue-chip brands on an international scale
  • You have the right combination of creative inspiration and know-how along with solid management and strategy skills to be able to balance the job of our brands creative direction making sure your creative teams execute directives and fit the voice and visual style of our brand portfolio.
  • You bring a proven track record in building and creating the respective company’s brand(s) output in traditional and digital media, design and performance marketing - including a detailed understanding of the new media landscape, relevant business strategies and the world of consumer insights.

This role is based in Berlin — relocation support will be provided.
