  • As a Sr. Internal Communications Manager II, you will be a trusted advisor, storyteller, and communications professional who’s passionate about how we can help our people cut through the noise and find creative ways to engage with a diverse global community. You will shape how we live into our Principles by executing our cohesive communications strategy so our colleagues feel informed, heard, and connected to what’s happening at HashiCorp as we scale. Reporting to the Internal Comms lead, you will align and work closely with senior leadership, cross-functional partners, and our wider corporate communications team.

In this role, you can expect to…

  • Own and lead evergreen communications programs like our monthly Company All Hands, centralized communications calendar, and an internal company newsletter. Creating programming for the organization that resonates across different teams and locations, including end-to-end management and logistics.
  • Partner with key stakeholders, leaders, and program managers, serving as a trusted advisor across the organization to ensure that all internal communication is aligned with business objectives and supports the company’s priorities, culture, and strategic imperatives.
  • Handle internal communications requests, providing guidance and feedback to ensure all internal communications are clear, consistent, and aligned with the company’s goals and principles with a solid connection to our voice and brand.
  • Write and develop compelling, vibrant, and concise content for internal communications across a spectrum of channels and topics, including- but not limited to email announcements, presentations, webinars, newsletters, videos, executive talking points, internal stories, blog posts, and FAQs.
  • Prioritizing and optimizing communications, including sourcing and producing a constant pipeline of stories that excite our colleagues about what’s happening at HashiCorp and ensuring essential information is communicated consistently across channels.
  • Manage and maintain the company’s internal communication tools, ensuring they are up-to-date, user-friendly, and aligned with HashiCorp’s goals and values.
  • Lead the development and strategy around new and existing communications channels.

You may be a good match for our team if you have…

  • BA/BS
  • 8+ years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, marketing, or a related field.
  • Must have worked closely and interacted with executive leaders in a communications role.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a proven ability to translate complex ideas into digestible and compelling messages for various audiences.
  • Experience creating, launching, managing, and driving communication plans/campaigns and analyzing metrics to ensure future improvements
  • Excellent, proven project management experience.
  • The ability to run multiple projects simultaneously while also developing effective communications under time constraints, including in urgent, critical, or crisis situations.
  • Experience writing for a range of executives and internal stakeholders; well-versed in crafting messaging for all mediums, including Slack, email, presentations, video scripts, and in-person talking points.
  • Experience working on internal communications around diversity, inclusion, and engagement programs.
  • Ability to think both creatively and strategically to connect with and inspire a diverse audience, even when others are doing the communicating
  • A data-driven approach to measuring and quantifying the impact of internal communications to ensure we’re delivering the desired results and listening to employee feedback. #LI-Remote 
The base pay range for this role in the SF Bay Area / NYC area is:$147,900—$174,000 USDThe base pay range for this role in Seattle Metro, Denver / Boulder Metro, New York (excluding NYC), or California (excluding SF Bay Area) is:$135,600—$159,500 USDThe base pay range for this role in Colorado (excluding Denver / Boulder Metro) and Washington (excluding Seattle Metro) is:$123,300—$145,000 USD
