In this role you will manage a team of strategic partner managers to help discover, develop, execute and maintain relationships with creators and content partners by helping them grow their audience, engage their fan base, and build a sustainable content business. You will drive the growth of creators and partners; acquire and grow content on Pinterest that inspires viewers; and support product and go-to-market strategies for key Pinterest priorities. You’ll work cross-functionally with Communications, Marketing, Programming & Originals, Audience Development, Product and Product Marketing Teams to expand innovative content across the content ecosystem.

What you’ll do:

  • Build and cultivate relationships with a growing and diverse set of world class innovative partners including creators, publishers, media companies, brands and public figures;
  • Develop our content partner success strategy in LATAM, including impactful tooling adoption, increasing the number of engaged partners on the platform; 
  • Articulate the value of the Pinterest platform to content partners on creative best practices to help them achieve best in class content; 
  • Strategize and initiate meetings/negotiations with industry executives and high profile talent;
  • Evaluate and analyze content performance and provide feedback to Creator teams as needed;
  • Collaborate with Sales teams to onboard content partners with key joint Business Partners;
  • Identify key partners to be featured in marketing campaigns and ideate with marketing partners to launch programs;
  • Partner with cross-functional product teams to identify product pain points and advocate for partner needs;
  • Track, analyze and communicate key quantitative metrics and business trends as they relate to partner relationships;
  • Define and implement on their partners services and products aligned with company objectives;
  • Proactively resolve business issues with partners and also be an internal advocate for them;
  • Educate creators on how best to utilize our family of apps to engage with fans and develop their careers;
  • Manage a portfolio of content partners: from onboarding through development and retention around creative content;
  • Take learnings from portfolio of partners to build content strategies that celebrate and expand innovative content on Pinterest.

Additional responsibilities:

  • Support the development of our partner strategy for Latin and South America, inclusive of Brazil and Mexico driving towards KPIs and priority growth opportunities translating global strategies into the region.
  • Be responsible for creator, content and regional growth goals.
  • Drive operational excellence for creator programs by refining the current process, building out toolkits to drive efficiency, and establishing a feedback loop to continue to optimize the process.

What we’re looking for:

  • Partnerships experience in a leadership role in the technology industry specifically in content creation, driving strategy and cross functional collaboration;
  • Experience managing a team of strategic partner managers;
  • Experience managing a partnerships pipeline from acquisition to retention strategies;
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills;
  • Operational and analytical rigor to prioritize investment decisions that drive long-term business results;
  • Ability to oversee and track a budget and make changes as needed; 
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with an appetite to grow partner content;
  • Deep understanding of production, content creation, and the competitive landscape in digital media;
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration capabilities;
  • Proficiency in Spanish and Portuguese required;
  • MBA preferred.
