Pure Storage Marketing is looking for a Senior Manager, Marketing Operations responsible for supporting the Portworx marketing team. Portworx is a fast growing startup within Pure that is changing how the world manages containers in enterprise storage applications.
In this critical role, you will own the marketing operations strategy and execution for Portworx, playing a pivotal role in enabling data-driven decisions, operational excellence, and scalable marketing execution. You will partner closely with cross-functional teams across marketing, sales, and IT, and serve as the connective tissue between marketing strategy and execution. This is a high-impact role with visibility to senior leadership and requires a strong mix of analytical rigor, marketing technology expertise, and business insight..
- Develop and lead the marketing operations strategy for Portworx, ensuring alignment with overall business priorities and marketing goals.
- Proven experience with marketing automation (Marketo), CRM (Salesforce), Allocadia, and reporting tools like Tableau
- Act as the primary liaison between Portworx and Pure Storage’s corporate operations and IT teams, advocating for tools, data infrastructure, and processes that enhance marketing performance.
- Drive cross-functional alignment with corporate marketing and sales operations to execute the Portworx operational roadmap and ensure shared accountability for results.
- Oversee the Campaign Operations function, ensuring flawless execution of marketing programs—including email, nurture streams, and lead management—in support of demand generation efforts.
- Own the end-to-end email marketing and lead management strategy, including campaign operations, audience targeting, database segmentation, and lead routing—ensuring precision, scalability, and engagement across the buyer’s journey.
- Design and deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance dashboards and reports, covering pipeline metrics, funnel analytics, campaign attribution, and executive-level KPIs.
- Lead the preparation and analysis of marketing data for Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), clearly articulating marketing’s impact on pipeline and revenue.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to marketing leadership, leveraging data to identify insights, recommend optimizations, and influence investment decisions.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...
- Bachelor’s degree and 8–10 years of experience in B2B Marketing, with at least 5 years focused on marketing operations.
- Proven experience with marketing automation (Marketo), CRM (Salesforce), Allocadia, and reporting tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear insights and strategic recommendations.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare C-level reports, dashboards, and business cases with high attention to detail.
- Experience supporting executive reporting and QBRs, with strong written and verbal presentation skills.
- Hands-on experience managing budgets, forecasts, and operational plans.
- High level of initiative, ownership, and agility—you’re a self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
- Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills; comfortable working across teams, functions, and time zones.
- Process-oriented mindset with a continuous improvement approach.
We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Santa Clara, CA office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.

Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations.
This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
