At Databricks, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager of Revenue Operations to join our fast-paced, hyper-scale environment. Reporting to the Director of Order to Cash, the ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, adept at managing complex sales and usage contract processes while ensuring accuracy and compliance. The impact you will have:
- Manage system set up of all sales contracts within relevant business systems (usage, subscription, and amendment level) to ensure completeness and accuracy through monthly and quarterly close process
- Work with billing and collections to improve sales contract processing to minimize billing errors and improve efficiency
- Improve and implement best practices across the organization in relation to contract management, provisioning, and preparation for accurate customer usage reporting and billing
- Manage OTC month-end close activities, including preparation and review of Usage Reconciliations under SOX compliance
- Lead and develop the revenue operations team by providing mentorship and fostering a culture of continuous learning, growth, and operational excellence
- Work with your partners (Revenue Accounting, Deal Desk, IT, FP&A, and Engineering) to initiate and implement process improvements of the quote-to-cash process to increase operational efficiencies while maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the underlying accounting records
- Build relationships with Deal Desk and Sales Leaders globally to support complex pricing and deal structures, and minimize deal rejection to support billing and revenue goals
- Work with teams to automate provisioning and establish traceable and auditable evidence for provisioning/order fulfillment, monthly usage rating, and applicable reporting
- Ensure appropriate internal controls are in place and operating effectively, and ensure maintenance of control documentation for revenue-related processes to ensure SOX compliance
- Collaborate cross-functionally to establish policies and create standardized operating procedures to ensure the organization is well-positioned to scale with growth
- Leverage data-driven insights to proactively identify opportunities and create a strategic roadmap aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and excellence
- Create and publish metrics to capture, control, and report the Revenue Operations team's effectiveness
- Provide audit support for control and substantive testing
What we look for:
- Bachelor degree
- 8+ years of experience in Order Management, Billing, or Finance Operations
- 6+ years of management experience
- A collaborative leader who excels in engaging with executives while also being hands-on in supporting their team and stakeholders in daily operations
- Experience managing a high volume of transactions with nonstandard terms
- Ability to adhere to deadlines in a fast-paced environment without losing sight of accuracy
- Strong self-starter who operates with proactively, high attention to detail, and strong communication skills
- Proficiency with Excel is required (Pivot tables, Vlookups, IF statements)
- Experience in subscription, consumption, and professional services billings
- Experience with NetSuite, SalesforceCPQ, Financial Force and Salesforce or any major ERP
- Knowledge of SQL a plus

The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Databricks utilizes the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above.
