What You'll Do:

LogicMonitor is disrupting the hybrid cloud monitoring market by changing the way businesses use disparate sources of data. We are already a leader in this space – and we started by solving the hardest, most complicated problem first. With roots in the IT Infrastructure Monitoring space, we have carved out excellent product-market fit in hybrid cloud monitoring. Our customers love LogicMonitor's ability to bring cloud and traditional IT together into one view, as seen in minimal churn rates, expansion business, and exciting new customer references. As we enter this next phase of growth, we are in search of a Senior Manager, GTM Finance.

In this role, you play a pivotal part in supporting the GTM (go-to-market) organization. Work closely with Sales and Marketing leadership, as well as the broader finance, accounting, and operations teams.

As a vital member of LogicMonitor's FP&A team, you are called upon to build complex analyses that will serve as the foundations for the LM team to make key strategic decisions. Your expertise lies in transforming vague business issues and abstract ideas into precise, refined analyses. These analyses provide insights that shape business decisions and drive value creation. With a methodical, critically thinking, and numbers-oriented mindset, you serve as a key liaison with functional teams.

You'll resolve issues related to forecasting, planning, resource prioritization and business performance, and you help translate analyses into easy-to-consume KPIs and presentations. Accuracy in data compilation is just the starting point for you; you strive to validate numbers by understanding the underlying "story," conducting variance analysis, and continuously refining insightful dashboards and presentations.

Here's a closer look at this key role:

  • Lead finance partnering with sales and marketing leadership on planning, forecasting, variance and ROI analysis.
  • Collaborate closely with the GTM operations team to ensure one single source of truth when it comes to financial KPIs.
  • Support the development and reporting of key GTM metrics including CAC and LTV.
  • Present financial data and analytics to an executive audience with clear recommendations that influence business decisions.
  • Contextually understand financial data and modeling outputs, identifying gaps and creating solutions to address those gaps proactively.
  • Support quarterly forecast and Annual Operating Plan processes, which include working closely with business partners to build highly detailed operating models and plans.
  • Perform ad-hoc and scenario analyses for strategic projects.
  • Define and manage real-time tracking of KPIs to ensure resources are efficiently allocated and aligned in support of annual operating plan and long-term value creation thesis.
  • Proactively highlight opportunities for process improvements.
  • Prepare and maintain various complex financial models (i.e. What-if analysis) to support strategic initiative decision-making.
  • Gain an intimate knowledge of LogicMonitor’s business systems stack to support long-term scale of the FP&A function, including becoming a subject matter expert at LM’s Adaptive Insights and Looker platforms to support efficient forecasting, reporting, and dashboard generation.
What You'll Need:
  • Previous experience supporting sales and marketing from an FP&A perspective in the SaaS sector
  • 8+ years of experience in investment banking, equity research, management consulting, or high-growth enterprise SaaS
  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
  • Background in the Technology or Software/SaaS industry
  • Proficient in SaaS KPIs, including Marketing funnel metrics, Sales Capacity Planning, Pipeline Efficiency, and LTV to CAC
  • Skilled in presenting investment proposals and outcomes to CFO, VP Finance, and GTM leadership
  • Ability to develop and cultivate relationships, balancing high-level thinking with detailed execution
  • Demonstrated success in effectively managing, mentoring, or leading individuals
  • Prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment to ensure timely delivery of key objectives
  • Efficient management of collaborative tasks with stakeholders across different time zones
  • Comfortable challenging leaders to enhance return on investment and operational efficiency
