The Sales Enablement (SE) team is a multidisciplinary team dedicated to training and learning, sales content guidance and management as well as leading sales programs that increases the effectiveness and efficiency of Sales. We’re hiring a Sr. Sales Training and Learning Lead to help build and deliver best-in-class learning experiences for all global sellers at Pinterest.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Design large scale learning programs for our global sales workforce as well as facilitate trainings locally.
  • Partner directly with subject matter experts to design and develop engaging experiences for the various seller role profiles and available delivery modes (live, e-learning, asynchronous) with clear strategies and tactics to achieve desired learning outcomes.
  • Lead all phases of the learning design process to identify needs, define objectives, design the experience, develop content, document results, and maintain program curriculum.
  • Support learning program updates by providing insight and feedback on best instructional practices.
  • Define and report out metrics that assess learning effectiveness and/or opportunities.
  • Partner closely with other Training & Learning professionals on the team to ensure learning experiences are fun, engaging, and help sellers adopt new skills and abilities. 

 

What we’re looking for:

  • 9+ years of experience.
  • Extensive experience designing and developing learning experiences for sellers, particularly on performance advertising topics.
  • Proficient using a variety of learning, authoring, and collaboration tools to develop content. 
  • Evidence-based understanding of adult learning theory and how that translates into a work environment.
  • Ability to work in ambiguous environments and build programs alongside key stakeholders as they create and update foundational initiatives.
  • Open collaborative style; ability to work both in a team environment and autonomously with minimal supervision or direction.
  • Strategic ability to understand the priorities for Pinterest as a company and how learning and development can best address skill and knowledge gaps in the workforce.
  • Creativity; with new and fresh ways to design learning and development programs in a hybrid work environment. 
  • Experience working in tech, media, e-commerce, or advertising preferred.
