We are looking for a creative and passionate member to join the Industry & Solutions marketing team with a specific focus on digital natives and emerging markets. Digital Native Businesses are built from the start around modern, cloud-native technologies, applying data and AI across all aspects, from product development to logistics operations and customer engagement. DNBs grow fast, improve industries, and create new markets by applying new technologies, platform services, and marketplaces. They encompass multiple B2B and B2C enterprises, from food delivery to carbon sequestration to cryptocurrency.

As an Industry and Solutions Marketer at Databricks, you will be a true leader - guiding messaging, content, event strategy, analyst relationships, GTM programs, and community for Digital Natives. You will work with sales, engineering, marketing, partners, and customers to build awareness and create demand through awareness and sales enablement programs - helping us effectively reach main audiences, create a pipeline, and grow our ecosystem. Finally, you will help establish Databricks as a must-have strategic partner for data intelligence through expertise content, including editorials, blogs, white papers, social and other tactics. You will report to the head of Industry & Solutions marketing.
The impact you will have:
- Growth in the total addressable market by defining, packaging, and launching a Data Intelligence Platform for DNBs.
- Inclusion in analyst research and influencer content.
- Engagement from executives - specifically technical decision-makers and the C-Suite.
- Adoption of your approaches to building campaigns, growing pipeline, and identifying use cases.
- Productivity gains for field partners through the sales enablement you build.
- Use motivated by audience-specific solutions you identify and content you create - blogs, videos, pitches, discovery guides and more.
- Acceleration of pipeline by GSIs and ISVs you identify and with whom you co-market.
- Advocacy from customers sourced directly by you - including case studies, videos, and brand campaigns.
What we look for:
- 7+ years of experience marketing technology solutions within an enterprise software, startup, or organization with direct relevance to digital natives and startups.
- EECS degree or comparable technical experience.
- Experience with cloud, big data, data analytics, data warehouse,and AI/ML technologies, with the ability to translate the technical to relevant use cases and outcomes.
- Deep understanding of the technology solutions and operating models driving digital natives.
- Experience as both a subject matter expert and marketer with strength in storytelling, creative and execution.
- Portfolio of impactful messaging, marketing content, solutions, and sales enablement of meaningful outcomes.
- Customer-facing experience presenting to executives and decision-makers at relevant events, executive briefings, and sales meetings.
- Strong collaboration and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Pay Range Transparency
Databricks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Databricks utilizes the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above.
