THE TEAM

Our Information Technology (IT) team is Zuora's internal engineering organization, responsible for creating technology experiences that connect our teams, drive business alignment and build a stronger, more collaborative work “place.” With a cloud-first approach, we empower our global ZEOs with increased productivity and self-service to enable company growth, scale and flexibility while hardening our security and compliance posture.

THE OPPORTUNITY

As a Senior Full Stack Web Developer at Zuora, you maintain and implement both front end and back end systems that support our internal and external websites. You will collaborate with Platform/Infrastructure, Cyber Security, and TechOps to ensure that our properties are running efficiently as well as help deliver new features and integrations between systems. OUR TECH STACK: AWS, Azure, Wordpress (WP Engine and core), PHP, JS (node.js, react), CSS/HTML, jQuery, Jenkins, Github with Github Actions

WHAT YOU’LL ACHIEVE

  • Serve as the Technical Expert for those solutions, maintaining documentation and advising others on their underlying technology and operation
  • Build and maintain both back end and front end features.
  • Build, operate, and maintain integrations between systems as necessary and assist other teams in same
  • Act as mentor and team leader for development efforts as part of the Web Engineering team
  • Responsible for scheduling, testing, and implementing enhancements of new releases of the platforms and systems that we support/own
  • Provide regular and effective progress updates to and work closely with management to communicate any delivery risks or issues.
  • Engage with teams to identify shared problems and develop automation.
  • Strong operational knowledge of Wordpress CMS, Elementor (Wordpress plugin), AWS, Jenkins, Github Actions
  • Must be familiar with CDNs such as Akamai and/or Cloudflare
  • Must have strong familiarity with AWS
  • As a member of the Web Engineering team you will be responsible for maintaining current systems while working to build a set of enterprise solutions across the organization

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

  • 4+ years strong knowledge of Wordpress/WPE or other CMS, enterprise-level site experience a plus
  • Hands-on experience with headless CMS (eg: Storyblok, Contentful, etc) a plus
  • 4+ years HTML and CSS
  • 4+ years CSS Frameworks ( SASS, Less, Etc ) + Bootstrap or similar
  • 4+ years of experience with javascript languages including jQuery, React, Angular, node.js
  • 4+ years back-end experience, PHP and/or Python preferred
  • Knowledge of front end design / engineering best practices across web and responsive mobile
  • 1+ years of experience with Elementor or similar page editor plugins
  • 4+ years with Github Actions and/or Jenkins CI/CD pipeline or similar
  • 4+ years experience with AWS
  • 4+ years of experience with agile development
  • Strong ability to diagnose issues using tools such as SumoLogic and New Relic
  • Hands-on operational knowledge of Wordpress CMS, Elementor (Wordpress plugin), AWS, Jenkins, Github Actions is a must for this role

The base pay range for this position is only one element of a candidate's total rewards package, which may also include bonuses/variable compensation, equity, and benefits.
