The Sr. Workday Payroll Analyst will be responsible for processing payroll in multiple locations worldwide, ensuring accurate and timely payroll. You will work closely with our payroll vendors, internal business partners, and end users, supporting day-to-day activities, identifying opportunities for improvement, supporting our project roadmap, and ensuring SLAs. This position reports to the senior payroll manager.

The impact you will have:

● Day to Day employee support utilizing our case management tool● All aspects of payroll processing for our America’s region● Adhere to payroll controls and compliance requirements● Identifying opportunities to improve processes to achieve scalability● Development/maintenance of process documentation● Completion and adherence to payroll processing checklists● Key role in the Workday Payroll Implementation

What we look for:

● 3+ years of US Workday payroll experience● 5 + years of US Payroll processing experience for exempt and non exempt employees● Canada payroll experience preferred● Experience with Equity transactions, sourced income, and expat shadow payrolls● Advanced skills using Excel● Technically well-versed and able to transition to new technologies easily● Understanding of case management tools, SLA’s, and metrics● Strong communication and organizational skills and cultural intelligence; ability toformulate and articulate a perspective and present it in a way to createunderstanding and alignment● Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions

● Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently with minimalsupervision, as well as the ability to collaborate closely with others to achieveobjectives and deadlines

The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles.  Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Databricks utilizes the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above.
