The Sr. Workday Payroll Analyst role will be responsible for processing payroll in multiple locations across the country, ensuring accurate and timely payroll. You will work closely with our payroll vendors, internal business partners and end user’s, supporting day to day activities, identifying opportunities for improvement, supporting our project roadmap and ensuring SLA’s. This position reports to the Sr. Manager, Payroll.

The impact you will have:

  • Day-to-day employee support utilizing our case management tool
  • End-to-end payroll processing for our America’s region
  • Adhere to payroll controls and compliance requirements
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes to achieve scalability
  • Development/maintenance of process documentation
  • Ability to coach other team members
  • Strong cross-functional relationships with business partners

 

What we look for:

  • 3+ years of US Workday payroll experience (experience with creating and editing basic reports and pay components is a plus)
  • 5 + years of US Payroll processing experience for exempt and nonexempt employees
  • Experience with equity transactions, sourced income, and expat shadow payrolls
  • Experience with payroll tax processes, including resolving notices, registrations, and managing locals
  • Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, Vlookups, and other formulas
  • Technically well-versed and able to transition to new technologies easily
  • Strong communication, organizational skills, and cultural intelligence; ability to formulate and articulate a perspective and present it in a way to create understanding and alignment
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as the ability to collaborate closely with others to achieve objectives and deadlines

Pay Range Transparency

Databricks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles.  Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Databricks utilizes the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above. Zone 1 Pay Range$89,400—$158,200 USD
