As a Staff Product Sales Engineer you are the guiding force behind bringing Collibra's product and vision to customers and prospects. Working with both net-new opportunities and expansion opportunities in existing accounts, Staff Product Sales Engineers establish knowledgeable and trusted relationships from day-one, and serve as subject matter experts in Collibra’s portfolio.

As a Staff Product Sales Engineer at Collibra, you will fill an essential and highly respected role in the sales organization at Collibra, collaborating and building relationships cross-functionally and across geographies for the larger team’s success.

Staff Product Sales Engineers at Collibra are responsible for
  • Providing timely product technical expertise around Collibra’s portfolio of products to internal customer facing staff, prospects, customers and partners
  • Creating and maintaining playbooks and lab environments to ensure successful execution of technical demonstrations and evaluations by peers and partners.
  • Collaborating with the Product organization by providing early product feedback and communicating field observations and customer feedback to extend competitive advantage
  • Collaborating with Sales Enablement and Education to develop technical enablement on new and advanced capabilities of Collibra’s portfolios for internal functions and partners 
You Have
  • 5+ years in a technical customer facing role in enterprise software
  • Broad knowledge of data governance, data catalog, data quality, and data privacy platforms. Experience should include a broad range of disciplines including value-based selling, cost-benefit analysis and ROI analysis, process and project management, and familiarity with challenger sales methodology.
  • Experience with the leading PaaS providers, Data Lakes, Databases, Business Intelligence and Integration platforms - experience in the Data space required
  • Working experience in building and delivering presentations, communicating product messaging and effectively explaining complex technical concepts to cross-functional audiences (technical and non-technical) across internal and external organizations
  • Working experience in installing, configuring, integrating, troubleshooting enterprise software solutions and diagnosing problems
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required.
  • This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
  • You must have work authorization in Prague CZ
  • Willing to travel up to 15%

  • Able to communicate effectively, in English, via multiple channels (verbal, written) with technical and non-technical staff across internal and external organizations
  • Someone with ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly
  • Someone with ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Familiar with use cases, challenges and technologies in the areas of data management, business intelligence, data science and/or data analytics. 
  • Knowledgeable in SAP and/or cloud technologies (GCP, AWS, Azure)
Measures of success
  • Within your first month, you will have completed at least one Collibra University learning path and be able to clearly articulate the value that the Collibra platform can provide
  • Within your third month you will be able to explain and present Collibra’s Platform Architecture and Integration with minimal support
  • Within your sixth month, you will be able to explain, present, setup, configure and troubleshoot Collibra Platform integrations with external systems
