THE WORK:

We are looking for an experienced, strategic, and detail-oriented Program Manager leader at Director level to join the Strategic Initiatives team. 

In this role, you partner with functional leaders to identify, advance, and support cross-company strategic initiative programs that materially improve Ripple’s market position and operating effectiveness.

We are seeking someone who is eager to learn, a self-starter and passionate about taking action in order to get things done quickly and efficiently. You are organized, take ownership by proactively looking for areas to provide value, and never let little things drop. You excel at building relationships, establishing excellent communication channels, and clarifying milestones and end goals. The ideal candidate values collaboration, influencing cross functionally, and has a deep understanding of the process necessary to develop and execute at the leadership level.

The Strategic Initiatives Director (Program Management) is an individual contributor role reporting to our Senior Director, Strategic Initiatives.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Be a trusted thought-partner and collaborator to the senior leadership / functional leaders
  • Own program management of time-bound initiatives 
  • Facilitate efficient meetings to ensure information exchange and alignment across teams
  • Manage cross-functional processes with leaders to ensure key decisions, major projects, and business outcomes are successful
  • Own, escalate and swiftly break down impediments that prevent things from moving forward
  • Drive and ensure regular, ongoing communication and coordination across functions
  • Increase visibility by owning and maintaining resources (ex. project plans, knowledge bases, comms channels) to ensure clarity and consistency in information
  • Identify critical path activities for programs and enable prioritization of initiatives

WHAT YOU'LL BRING: 

  • 10+ years of program management/consulting experience, an understanding of the blockchain space is preferred
  • BA/BS degree or higher
  • Ability to work out of an office three days a week
  • Proven experience in planning, managing and monitoring complex processes and programs 
  • Ability to work independently and a strong sense of ownership
  • Strong track record managing and influencing internal and cross-functional stakeholders 
  • Resourcefulness, persistence and ability to thrive in fast paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Outstanding organizational abilities and interpersonal skills to develop strong working relationships
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
For positions that will be based in CA, the annual salary range for this position is below. Actual salaries may vary based on numerous factors including, among other things, an individual applicant’s experience and qualifications for the position. This range does not include equity or additional compensation, such as bonuses or commissions. CA Annual Base Salary Range$196,000—$245,000 USD
