The Job:

• Be responsible for the successful management of Formlabs’ Sub-tier suppliers and partner ODMs/JDMs in terms of supplier relationship, project scope, cost, quality, and technical requirements
• Ensuring that sub tier suppliers’ and ODMs/JDMs’ products meet technical requirements and standards specified by the Formlabs Engineering team
• Drive the communication between suppliers and Formlabs internal teams
• Manage Sub-tier supplier and ODMs/JDMs’ quality throughout the product life-cycle
• Be the key contributor in supplier selection in the design and development phase as well as the operation's execution phase
• Develop a supplier evaluation program for Sub-tier suppliers and ODMs/JDMs

You:

• Are currently based or willing to relocate to Dongguan, China
• Have a Bachelor's degree in an applicable engineering field (Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, etc.)
• Have 5+ years working experience in direct supplier management of manufacturing environment
• Are able to travel 50% of the time
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills 
• Are a hands-on engineer, well versed in testing/validation
• Are an effective communicator (remotely and in person) 
• Are able to positively interact and collaborate with a diverse group of people domestically and internationally

Bonus Skills:

• 3D printing enthusiast
• Technical knowledge in optics, electromechanical systems, robotics and additive manufacturing technologies will be a plus 
• Tech savvy
