YOUR MISSION

To ensure Glovo continues to deliver exceptional service, our commitment to equipping our riders, partners, and e-commerce teams with the necessary resources is paramount. As a Supply Chain Senior Analyst, you will play a crucial role in collaborating with key departments across the organization—including logistics, partners, and q-commerce—to guarantee the seamless supply of essential equipment to riders, partners, and Dmarts, in alignment with the anticipated demand for our products and services. The ideal candidate for this position thrives in a dynamic, "all-hands-on-deck" environment, possesses a keen problem-solving aptitude, and excels in a fast-paced setting that prioritizes swift execution.

THE JOURNEY

  • Develop forecasting models that accurately predict demand patterns, incorporating insights from various departments to ensure the availability of rider and partner equipment.
  • Work closely with all stakeholders influencing demand forecasts to foster a cohesive supply chain strategy.
  • Craft and execute supply plans that emphasize cost-efficiency and effectiveness, ensuring the timely procurement of necessary equipment (including coordinating purchase orders with vendors and sending equipment to countries). 
  • Address and resolve demand-related challenges promptly and efficiently.
  • Take full responsibility for managing and optimizing the supply chain budget.
  • Regularly track and report on key OKRs related to supply chain performance.
  • Continuously explore and adopt innovative strategies to boost supply chain performance (enhancing inventory turnover, minimizing the presence of slow-moving items, among others).

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

  • 4-6 years in a supply chain or operations role, in a Demand Planner role or similar
  • Experience working with warehouses and parcel logistics providers.
  • A strong understanding of inventory management practices and procedures.
  • Exceptional mathematical and statistical skills.
  • Ability to multitask and navigate a fast-paced environment.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for problem-solving.
  • High level of interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with global, cross-functional teams, including internal customers and service providers.
  • A proactive operations mindset, always seeking to optimize and innovate processes.
  • Professional proficiency in English.
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets; familiarity with Power BI & SQL and Odoo is advantageous but not mandatory.
