We are seeking a senior level Tableau Developer to support our Sales organization within our Integrated Operations Strategy, Business Intelligence, and Analytics (IOPS SBIA) team.

This position requires a passion for delivering exceptional results, a strong desire for continuous improvement, and the ability to work well alongside an international development team. As a Tableau Desktop and data visualization expert, you will be responsible for developing beautiful and effective dashboards that meet the needs of our internal stakeholders. 

SHOULD YOU ACCEPT THIS CHALLENGE...

Responsibilities:

• Ability to create and troubleshoot integrated reports and dashboards, running on blended datasets from different sources on Tableau Desktop
• Publish and configure interactive dashboards on Tableau Cloud
• Ensure data and insights are actionable to drive decisions across the business
• Communicate data-driven insights and recommendations to key stakeholders
• Intermediate level knowledge of SQL, especially with reporting data pipeline, preferably in Snowflake
• Proven track record of successful and timely delivery of assigned tasks
• Excellent problem solving, analytical and verbal and written communications skills
• Committed to supporting US and Bangalore teams with written and spoken communications - including Jira ticketing, Slack messages and huddles, emails, and Zoom conferences
• Proactively communicate task status and highlight blockers to teammates; ready to respond to communications during working hours
• Technical competence to perform and coach team members in more advanced analytics
• Conduct dashboard design reviews to gather and implement feedback
• Proactively suggest opportunities for Tableau dashboard enhancements and effective feature use 
• You will be based in Bangalore, India. As this is an office-centric role, you are expected to be present in the office for 3 days a week. As outlined in Pure's Hybrid Work Policy, there will be variations over periods of time, depending on business need.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...

Requirements:

• Must be able to work 3 days a week out of our Bangalore, India office
• Ensure a minimum of 3 hours of overlap with the US team (PST) in the evening, to ensure daily handoff and project updates
• 10+ years of Tableau development and data analytics experience
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Information Systems or Engineering; or equivalent work experience
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms (experience with Snowflake is preferred)
• Understanding of data and reporting needs for Sales and Marketing organizations (experience with Salesforce data is preferred)
• Understanding of dimensional data warehouses 
• Advanced knowledge and experience with Tableau Desktop and related Tableau Server/Cloud deployment processes 
• Experience with Tableau Extensions by using scripting languages (nice to have)

• Must be willing and able to work in an open office, team environment.
