We are looking for a Technical Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Recruiting team. Joining Appian Talent Acquisition will provide you with the opportunity to learn and stretch in a fast paced, results oriented environment.

As a Technical Talent Acquisition Specialist supporting our Chennai office expansion, you will play a crucial role in attracting and hiring top technical talent to support our organization's growth and innovation. You will be responsible for executing end-to-end recruitment strategies, building relationships with candidates and stakeholders, and ensuring a seamless candidate experience. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of the technical landscape, a proven track record in technical recruitment, and excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

To be successful in this role, you will: 

  • Proactively identify, source, engage, and build a strong pipeline of top-tier technical talent across all levels, including niche and evergreen positions.

  • Build strong partnerships with key business stakeholders by providing valuable insights into the hiring funnel, identifying and addressing roadblocks, and offering innovative solutions to complex recruitment challenges. Leverage market insights to drive impactful hiring decisions.

  • Conduct thorough candidate assessments to evaluate role fit and motivators while providing candidates with a white glove experience.

  • Demonstrate an innate sense of urgency, proactivity and tenacity, taking ownership of each stage of the hiring process and continuously driving it forward. 

  • Collaborate effectively with team members across diverse time zones, demonstrating strong communication and coordination skills to ensure seamless workflow and successful recruitment outcomes in a global context.

Basic qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent 

  • 1-2+ years in full lifecycle technical recruiting

  • Demonstrated proven expertise collaborating with hiring teams to make high-quality hiring decisions, leveraging deep knowledge of talent acquisition best practices, market insights and industry trends.

  • Experience in recruiting for software or product companies, with a specific focus on roles such as Software Engineering, Product Management, User Experience, and/or Quality Engineering.

  • Ability to excel in dynamic, fast-paced, and high-growth environments, where adaptability and agility are key to success.

  • Strong skills in sourcing techniques, leveraging platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter and other relevant tools, to proactively identify and engage with candidates.

  • Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), effectively utilizing systems such as Greenhouse and Workday.
