The salary range for this position is $83,000-$92,000* however, base pay offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. This role reports into our Boston office Tuesday-Thursday (remote flexibility on Monday/Friday).

Wayfair’s Talent for Tech team is tasked with guiding Wayfair employees through development opportunities and touchpoints so they can grow and succeed from day one forward. Every day we work with key stakeholders across the tech organization to maintain a high performance bar, develop and recognize our technologists, and help Wayfair remain a leader in e-commerce. We focus on guiding Wayfair tech team members to do their best work by creating frameworks to have a common understanding of what the bar looks like and ensure they feel supported and recognized in growing their career at Wayfair. 

The Role

Wayfair is looking for a driven, customer-focused partner to join our Talent for Tech team. In partnership with the team, you will be responsible for running some of our highest priority performance, promotion and recognition programs that reach our diverse global technology workforce. Your role will end-to-end own the tech promotion process, including planning for each cycle, identifying the training needs and building/delivering trainings, managing the execution of the cycle, reporting on key metrics, and iterating as needed. You will manage the job architecture and supporting documents within Technology to ensure we are successfully upholding a high technical bar. You will partner closely with your HR peers and business stakeholders to continually iterate on the talent management programs for the Technology organization. Success in this role is determined by your ability to effectively and efficiently build, execute, and iterate technology talent management programming to address key talent challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Run tech-wide promotion and performance cyclical processes in partnership with TBP/HRBPs and the central Talent Development team, including end-to-end management of daily metrics and reporting out progress and gaps. 
  • Actively manage the tech review process to ensure we are upkeeping a high bar and iterate as needed based on feedback from stakeholders
  • Prepare the tech organization for each performance and promotion cycle by creating, modifying and leading trainings 
  • Drive the tech-wide employee sentiment analysis, including summarizing feedback, partnering with the CTO and her staff to identify priorities, and driving tech-wide initiatives in response to employee feedback
  • Support Talent for Tech program operations (both in person and virtually) including facilitation, participant logistics, and communications
  • Own tech-wide recognition programs, including tech awards
  • Partner with TBPs to create tech-wide learning & development content to increase organizational effectiveness and support talent programs
  • Conduct benchmarking for industry-wide best practices in talent management in Tech. 
  • Manage ad-hoc tech-wide talent programs, as needed

What You'll Need:

  • 3+ years of experience related to Human Resources, Program Management, Talent Development, or related field
  • Highly effective at managing timelines, delivery, and communication across teams
  • Excellent interpersonal and team building skills, but also able to work autonomously
  • High aptitude with large data sets, excel, and metrics 
  • Basic understanding of Workday
  • Demonstrates a relentless customer focus as it relates to program participants and talent stakeholders
  • Experience with facilitation in large setting and an interest in public speaking
  • Experience with survey management and program management 
  • Thrives in a fast paced environment; works with urgency
  • Aptitude to upskill quickly on new platforms and processes
