We are looking to hire high-energy, entrepreneurial and value-adding talent to join Blenheim Chalcot, a world leading venture builder. The Early Careers Talent Executive will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our ventures by sourcing, attracting and onboarding high-potential candidates onto the BC Graduate Programme.

THE ROLE 

The BC Graduate Programme is growing and as a result, we are looking for a Talent Executive to join our teamto focus on driving early-careers recruitment. The role will be instrumental in leading the attraction, selection, and placement process of high-potential early careers talent onto the BC Graduate Programme. You will also be responsible for relationships with key university partners, societies and groups, to drive awareness of our programmes to students.  

The role is designed to be an integral part of Blenheim Chalcot’s central function with progression opportunities within the team and/or our portfolio companies.  

Key responsibilities 

  • Own the graduate hiring process, managing end-to-end recruitment from attraction to placement. 
  • Build strong relationships with universities and student societies to foster brand awareness and generate excitement about the BC Graduate Programme.  
  • Manage data led decisions on engagement strategies and hiring tactics to ensure that we’re attracting the best talent for BC in the most effective way.   
  • Facilitate the administration for all stages of the recruitment process, including liaising with key stakeholders, and updating people systems. 
  • Help to build, develop and manage the community for our current and upcoming graduate cohorts.  
  • Demonstrate a growth mindset to continuously improve the processes and activities.  
  • Support in the organisation of BC talent networking and L&D sessions for and across the portfolio of businesses. 

Specific duties 

Depending on the project, you will need to be comfortable doing the following: 

  • drive the graduate recruitment process ‘from start to finish’: including reviewing candidates, conducting a high volume of screening interviews, scheduling interviews with stakeholders. 
  • plan and lead graduate assessment days, both in-person and virtual. 
  • act as a ‘super-user’ for out ATS system, Greenhouse, ensuring it is kept up to date and that the team are following best practice. 
  • work closely with our BC India colleagues on administrative and operational tasks.  
  • work in a highly entrepreneurial environment, focusing on execution and ensuring plans come to fruition. 
  • consistently build strong relationships with stakeholders centrally and in the portfolio companies.

 

ABOUT YOU 

The ideal candidate will have a track-record in delivering results in a fast-moving business and hence be comfortable with change and uncertainty. Excellent stakeholder management experience is essential to being successful in this role. 

The Ideal Candidate 

  • An ambitious and driven recruiter with minimum 1 year experience of working inhouse, onsite or RPO. 
  • Experience using and administrating recruitment systems including an ATS (Greenhouse preferable) and LinkedIn Recruiter.   
  • You're a resourceful and proactive problem solver – you take ownership and won’t settle until the problem is resolved.  
  • You’re resilient and love to use any learnings to improve a process next time round.  
  • You thrive from working in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable with ambiguity.  
  • You’re willing to get stuck in – we’re a small team so you’ll be happy get involved in projects outside of your job description.  
  • Excellent stakeholder management.
