Our Opportunity:

Chewy is looking for a Talent Management Partner to join our Strategic Talent Enablement and Measurement team. This role aligns with the strategic initiatives of the Operations Team Member Promise "Belonging" and "Growth" pillars, building new processes and platforms that enable successful onboarding and long-term career growth and development of our Fulfillment Center (FC) Chewtopians. This role works across the Strategic Talent Enablement and Measurement team, deploying strategies that enable the day-to-day operations and long-term goals of the fast-paced, experienced-focused, and high-growth 1G and 2G networks. 

 

What you'll do:

  • Facilitate Talent Rhythms with business leaders and support driving follow-through on next action steps, including Personal Development Plan creation and updates, serving as an internal subject matter expert for business leaders, HR Managers (HRMs), and Regional HR Director on development initiatives
  • Integrate new managers into the organization during onboarding and collaborate with FC HR and Learning & Development teams
  • Link talent management processes with related development programs across areas such as succession and workforce planning, leadership and team development, retention, performance management, career pathing, talent acquisition, and engagement/employee experience
  • Partner with Learning & Development on talent development needs and collaborate to build out resources, customized development, and program delivery
  • Review talent data to identify trends and recommend solutions to improve performance, recognition, retention, and team member experience, providing reporting for talent development initiatives
  • Collaborate with HRM teams to recommend and provide Chewy University, GROW@chewy, Lead@Chewy, Chewy Leadership Academy content, and other resources to the business
  • Manage the transition when managers enter and exit the organization, including conducting exit interviews and new manager assimilation as appropriate
  • Champion Chewy's culture of development, continuously seeking to promote and embed the Operations Team Member Promise (OTMP), the Operating Principles (OPs), Servant Leadership in Action, as well as Chewy Leadership Academy brand into talent processes

 

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
  • 3+ years of experience building and executing talent management processes in a high-growth, large, and global organization 
  • Prior HR experience, ideally in talent management, organizational development, leadership development, or as a business partner
  • Excellent attention to detail, including high-quality document and report preparation
  • A growth mindset and a willingness to pilot programs and learn from experiences
  • Learning agility and resiliency
  • Strong influencing, trust, and collaboration skills across all levels of the organization, with the ability to communicate effectively with different stakeholder groups and tell a compelling story with data
  • Demonstrated ability to build and support new processes where few existed before
  • Exceptional sense of judgment and ability to make quality and independent decisions under ambiguous situations
  • Travel will be required up to 25% to achieve business goals

 

Bonus:

  • Master's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, or a related field
  • Experience as an HR Business Partner, running annual processes such as performance management or succession planning
  • Experience in adapting processes to rapidly growing, fast-paced environments
