The Talent team at Wayfair plays a critical role: we support our 20,000+ employees as individuals, members of teams, and as part of Wayfair. The Employee Resources team is seeking a dedicated Project Manager for a temporary or part time role to manage a comprehensive audit of Wayfair’s Talent policies with the goal of streamlining and updating them, consolidating them into a single source of truth, and enabling governance going forward. This project manager will own the end to end transformative project and ensure the comprehensive policies are integrated into Wayfair's future roadmap while owning a team of 2-4 associates.

What You'll do

  • Compile a comprehensive list of policies we should have across regions, creating a structured map of all current and desired policies, including where policies connect/impact each other
  • Conduct audit and coordinate with stakeholders across Talent to draft and update documentation, record date of update, and owner for 100% of desired policy, and edit for consistent structure and Wayfair Voice
  • Publish updated comprehensive policy, in a structured and tagged format on one platform such as with Google Suite
  • Collaborate with Tech to decommission out of date content and platforms, and build pathways to the updated content, creating a single source of truth for Talent policy 
  • Conduct internal and external research and propose a governance structure and plan, then socialize with relevant stakeholders
  • Create and launch change management and governance process for Talent and broader Wayfair audiences

What You'll Need

  • Project Management Experience: Proven experience managing projects within HR or Talent Management
  • Team management: Experience managing a team of 2-4 associates
  • Talent/HR Management Knowledge: Familiarity with Talent/HR policies and procedures
  • Strong Organizational and planning skills with attention to detail
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to coordinate with various stakeholder to ensure consistent policy documentation
