The base pay for this position is $42 - $47 per hour. The base pay offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

This position is a remote and is full-time, Monday - Friday. 

This contract role is based on a senior recruiter level and is only through the end of this year (2025).

What You'll Do

  • Execute highly strategic and confidential executive searches, primarily for L5+ roles within the Technology organization, as well as highly specialized individual contributor positions requiring executive-level networking.
  • Conduct in-depth market mapping and competitive intelligence to identify a robust pipeline of passive, senior-level candidates (Director, VP, C-suite, and equivalent).
  • Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies, leveraging advanced research techniques and GenAI tools to target and engage hard-to-find executive talent.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with prospective candidates, serving as a trusted advisor and ambassador for Wayfair's executive opportunities.
  • Manage sensitive candidate information with the utmost discretion and confidentiality throughout the entire recruitment lifecycle.
  • Collaborate closely with the Executive Talent Acquisition team, hiring managers, and external search firms (when applicable) to ensure alignment on search strategies and candidate profiles.
  • Thoroughly vet candidates for leadership competencies, cultural fit, and relevant executive experience through initial outreach and screening.
  • Provide market insights and data-driven recommendations to inform executive talent strategies.

What You'll Need

  • 3+ years of dedicated executive search or executive recruiting sourcing experience, gained either in-house or with a retained search firm.
  • Demonstrated success in identifying, engaging, and securing senior-level candidates (Director, VP, C-suite, and equivalent) across a variety of functions.
  • Proven expertise in sourcing for confidential and highly sensitive executive-level positions.
  • Strong proficiency and practical experience utilizing Generative AI tools for executive sourcing and market research.
  • Exceptional communication, influencing, and interpersonal skills with a high EQ, capable of building rapport quickly with senior leaders.
  • Proactive, highly organized, and self-directed with a strong ability to manage multiple concurrent requisitions (1-3 executive searches).
  • Strong analytical skills for comprehensive market research and talent mapping.
  • Ability to operate with discretion and handle highly confidential information with integrity.
  • Comfort navigating ambiguous environments and complex organizational structures.
  • Strategic thinker with a consultative approach to executive talent acquisition.
