Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with open-source tech like Druid, Kafka, Flink, Databricks, Spark, and understanding the trade-offs among them
  • Experience in initiating and growing teams within startup settings
  • Proficiency with public cloud and cloud-native technologies like Kinesis, Bigquery, Beam, Dataflow
  • Demonstrated success in working on large-scale systems
  • Proven track record in product development from inception to deployment, particularly in the automotive/IoT industry
  • Extensive experience in collaborating across different time zones
Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage in daily coding, design brainstorming, and product evolution discussions
  • Shape the roadmap and technical strategy for your team and potentially multiple teams
  • Actively contribute to team growth through recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding processes
  • Foster cross-team coordination and partnerships to align on company objectives
  • Represent Sibros in interactions with external clients, gathering requirements and proposing solutions
Core Competencies:
  • Proficiency in various data tech stacks: storage, data warehousing, streaming, machine learning, AI
  • 8+ years of technical industry experience
  • 3+ years of proven leadership in managing and technically guiding engineering teams
  • Ability to contribute technically to projects on a daily basis
  • Outstanding communication, collaboration capabilities, and a positive team-oriented attitude
  • Enthusiasm for recruitment and career development initiatives
  • Adaptability to thrive in a dynamic startup environment
  • Passion for solving complex challenges in the automotive IoT domain
Additional Information:

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $180,000.00 - $240,000.00 + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum range for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Please note that the compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include equity, benefits, or any discretionary bonus components.
