The TechOps PMO is responsible for facilitating TechOps strategic priorities by enabling efficient delivery of technology solutions to meet stakeholder needs.  We enable TechOps to be a collaborative, trusted partner, providing superior technology services to our company and enabling our internal systems to be a source of competitive advantage.  

As a Technical Program Manager, CRM, you will support the delivery of technology solutions in accordance with established standards and frameworks for your aligned TechOps functional areas (Pillars + Departments).  

The right candidate for this role will:
  • Have practical experience with a minimum of 3-5 years working in a PMO or engineering organization, ideally in project/program management delivery, support, or in an analytics role.
  • Balance long-term strategic goal and short term priorities, manage complex projects and routine tasks.
  • Excellent at communicating with a diverse technical resources and stakeholders across TechOps and the business.
  • Super organized and comfortable in managing multiple aspects related to projects and task-tracking.
  • Experienced with successfully implementing agile/Scrum best practices as well as Project and program management best practices (e.g. PMBOK) at the department scale with positive outcomes.
  • Inspired to identify and innovate in areas where automation can replace manual work.
  • Driven by an attuned sense of priority and urgency.
  • Advanced understanding of technical and engineering concepts, allowing them to drive discussions, articulate requirements required to ensure successful delivery.
  • Skilled in working with project and portfolio management tools (e.g. JIRA, Smartsheet, Asana, Monday.com, MS Project).
  • Strong experience managing complex projects and programs end-to-end and leading technology delivery initiatives on the Salesforce CRM platform
  • Strong experience working with cross functional teams, empowering resources and managing stakeholder expectations, and driving program deliverables through to completion with a high degree of quality
  • Proven success in delivering technical, complex cross-functional projects across the business and IT.
  • Experienced in gathering process pain points from team members and stakeholders and devising improvements to address them.
  • Experienced with managing large, complex technology-enabled projects supporting CRM Technology, Go-To-Market (GTM) and Sales initiatives end to end.  
  • Interested in learning everything about MongoDB.
Position Expectations:
  • Design and improve the processes and tools that inform the daily life of engineers.
  • Act as the glue between Engineering and Product to prioritize the team's backlog and plan its release roadmap and program plans
  • Facilitate communication with other MongoDB engineering teams to ensure that all roadmaps are aligned.
  • Recognize patterns in a sea of information and take action accordingly.
  • Identify risks to the team’s releases, mitigating them where possible and communicating them where not possible.
  • Expand knowledge into new domains as called upon.
  • PMP certification preferred
  • Relevant experience managing complex initiatives end to end in Salesforce CRM required
Success Measures:
  • In 3 months you’ll have an understanding of TechOps PMO processes as well as all relevant data platform teams internal processes
  • In 6 months you’ll have begun to take on responsibilities of executing those processes and supporting your delivery teams.
  • In 12 months you’ll have begun identifying areas for process improvement within your assigned teams and other teams inside and outside of techops.

Compensation at the time of offer is unique to each candidate and based on a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location. Salary is one part of MongoDB’s total compensation and benefits package. Other benefits for eligible employees may include: equity, participation in the employee stock purchase program, flexible paid time off, 20 weeks fully-paid gender-neutral parental leave, fertility and adoption assistance, 401(k) plan, mental health counseling, access to transgender-inclusive health insurance coverage, and health benefits offerings. Please note, the base salary range listed below and the benefits in this paragraph are only applicable to U.S.-based candidates.

MongoDB’s base salary range for this role in the U.S. is:$78,000—$154,000 USD
